Reviewing my notes:

game 1 - Noteboom and Allen getting destroyed, Goff missing some passes

game 2 - Goff settles in. WR’s missing perfect passes, Havenstein getting abused by Jordan. Demby gets in the game and gets abused. Allen really settles in.

game 3 - Demby gets destroyed all game, Whit falls off two plays, Havenstein can’t handle Garrett. Mcvay blows some third down calls. Goff or Helmet communication screws up third and 1 call. Oline penalties start popping up.

game 4-offense starts slow on first 4 possessions with penalties, tipped passes for interception and a bad pass by Goff for a pick. Rams cannot run the ball ay all vs top run defense. Rams manage scores on 6 of their next 7 possessions until Barrett goes unblocked by Havenstein to knock ball out of Goff’s hand and end the game.Rams offense scores 33 pts, which is right on par with its two year average. The defense folded by Phillips lack of pass defense adjustments.

Multiple violators. We are 3-1, in the one game we lost Phillips was the culprit.

Biggest places to improve- oline run game and pass pro on the edges.
That pretty much accurately sums it up

Bravo Sir

Pretty sure our 85.7% got it right

After that, the only other logical explanation must be Hawaiian Pizza, wasn’t it @Corbin who actually brought it up in the first place? (In a brilliant deflection on a thread that had run its course)

Good god man, see what you went and done?
I have no clue what your talking about! I don’t derail threads..

Cheese is the only thing that belongs on a good pizza. No need for any toppings, no need for bells and whistles (and especially pineapple). Just good, old-fashioned cheese pizza.
What happens if your lactose?

You cannot execute when the OL misses blocks, doesn’t get to the next level on runs and cannot keep the pocket clean on passing downs.

Goff and Gurley are elite players and McVey is a mastermind. Lets go with the obvious, eh? Ironically, it’s the veteran right side of the line that are struggling the most, so people should lay off our second year players and hope Hav and Blythe clean up their act!

Hav has been awful and might warm the bench if he performs as badly again

I'm going to go with O-line and play calling. Yes, there were some bad throws. Yes, there were some dropped balls. And so on. I think the whole offense is out of sync but I also believe that starts at the O-line. I don't think McVay has wrapped his head around how bad the O-line has performed and if you can't run block or give your QB a pocket, play calling is going to be REALLY tough.

I was looking for that article that came out around the time McVay was hired, where he was discussing the 9ers drive that ended in "the catch" or whatever vs Dallas back in the day. He took the writer through some film on the plays leading up to it, and showed how the run game is what made that drive (and offense in general) go. Couldn't find it though, wanted to point out to those who are concerned with all the passing we saw last Sunday that this guy isn't Martz.

He's still drawin it up well even in the run game. So here's hoping the Rams get serious and execute tonight.

The war is won in the trenches. Gurley's performance or lack thereof behind that line making it harder for him; makes Goff throw it more. No threat to run, means more pressure for Goff consistently; which leads to more turnovers from hits and lack of protection. And btw, Hawaiian Pizza is delicious; yeah I said it...

Look man. The defense isn't there to stop the other team. 55 points isn't problem.

The defense exists to let the offense know how hard they have to work that day. The offense didn't rise to the challenge. Therefore the problem is the offense.

I'm not putting blue font on this because I'm lazy and it should be obvious this is a joke. Can we get the site to automatically detect statements like this and put blue funny on them, regardless of the desire of the poster?

I said scheme.

I wasn't able to see last week's debacle but from what I've read, seems like some of the same that I've been concerned about all season.

I just feel like McVay doesn't run enough. Pass option is most effective when they think you're gonna run.

If you really don't run much, it changes everything.

Not saying the Oline is playing well... but let them get in there, get dirty and push some people around. It's good for them, may be good for Gurley and great for play option.

Just my $.02
