but I didn't even see him on the field in 2nd half... don't think he got any snaps at allAkers got very hot and NcVay went back to him after the fumble. Akers ran very well yesterday.
We went with the hot hand and Akers was never winded would be my guess.but I didn't even see him on the field in 2nd half... don't think he got any snaps at all
That's all it was.We went with the hot hand and Akers was never winded would be my guess.
The crazy part about Hendo is he was supposed to be our "Kamara", a play making back that we'd try to get in space. I don't know if it was injuries but looks like he's lost some burst and explosiveness. The good thing is he's turned into a dependable/steady runner with good hands and strong in pass pro.
I think McVay wants a playmaker at RB and probably sees Akers as more of that guy than Hendo hence Akers being given the chance to reclaim his starting spot.
My feeling is this is the answer, sometimes you have to push people out of the planeI think it was a "Force Feed" scenario. I think McV wants to do whatever it takes to get Cam's head/confidence back in the game.
I remember Gurley trying to stick the ball out and fumbling, he stopped doing it after that. Hopefully Akers does the same.Rams RB room could look much better. Akers trying to set the record for fumbles at the foot line. Jeez
Snead made the comparison alot actuallyIt’s always been Cam Akers job.HENDO was a value pick to add depth. He was never suppose to be Kamara? Don’t get that one at all.He has earned his playing time & is reliable when called on.He is not an every down back, but is solid in all phases.
—The question about Lossing a step is a fair question.IMO he has gained weight & has had to change the player he naturally was for the team?
I could be way off,but I’d agree with his breakaway ability. Still think he will find his way to produce with Cam Akers as the Main RB.
Snead made the comparison alot actually
