He had 4 carries for 17 yards and didn't have another carry after that late got OB into the kicking net.

Did he get hurt on the play? Haven't seen or heard anything yet

Akers got very hot and NcVay went back to him after the fumble. Akers ran very well yesterday.

but I didn't even see him on the field in 2nd half... don't think he got any snaps at all

I thought Henderson was looking really good on his first few carries
but I guess McVay wanted to build Cam up if he could.

We went with the hot hand and Akers was never winded would be my guess.
That's all it was.

In the second-half, Arizona ran 45 plays on three drives; compared to the Rams ran 21 plays on four drives, including the two kneel-downs at the end-of-the-game.

The crazy part about Hendo is he was supposed to be our "Kamara", a play making back that we'd try to get in space. I don't know if it was injuries but looks like he's lost some burst and explosiveness. The good thing is he's turned into a dependable/steady runner with good hands and strong in pass pro.

I think McVay wants a playmaker at RB and probably sees Akers as more of that guy than Hendo hence Akers being given the chance to reclaim his starting spot.

I think it was a "Force Feed" scenario. I think McV wants to do whatever it takes to get Cam's head/confidence back in the game.

It’s always been Cam Akers job.HENDO was a value pick to add depth. He was never suppose to be Kamara? Don’t get that one at all.He has earned his playing time & is reliable when called on.He is not an every down back, but is solid in all phases.
—The question about Lossing a step is a fair question.IMO he has gained weight & has had to change the player he naturally was for the team?
I could be way off,but I’d agree with his breakaway ability. Still think he will find his way to produce with Cam Akers as the Main RB.

My feeling is this is the answer, sometimes you have to push people out of the plane ;)

He was on the sideline.

We need to mix it up better with both of them. The thing better than having A hot hand, is having hot handS ....

Rams RB room could look much better. Akers trying to set the record for fumbles at the foot line. Jeez

I remember Gurley trying to stick the ball out and fumbling, he stopped doing it after that. Hopefully Akers does the same.

Simmonblaze, I appreciate the repost of this.I go back to the McSnead days & think how lucky we have been as Ram Fans. The exception would St. Louis Rams Fans. I get that whole thought process, but that has never been me.
Kevin Demoff & Stan Kronke have always been about letting Ram Fans in.Then again Eric Dickerson IMO is the ULTIMATE RAM!! He knows The History better than any Ram Player in the modern era.
I going on one of my Rambles,so I will stop. There is a lot there.

Staying to the point of Darrell Henderson.I probably read about this, but not the video? Still haven’t seen it.

IMO HENDO made a Great catch in the SuperBowl. His hands are excellent. He has a pattern to the way he plays.

I believe your right about HENDO Lossing a step. He is just a baller though. He comes in & just does his thing.Very quiet & a good teammate.

HENDO is a DAWG in his own way.He is tough & runs a certain style.Mcvay & Les Snead saw talent first & Foremost.

Mcvay I sure will tell you what he thought when OTA’s came around as well? He was the rookie class of The Only Season Mcvay didn’t make it to The Playoffs. How many times have you heard that. (Add Bobby Evans plays RT that season & filled in for Big Rob.This Sunday I saw another example of The O’ taking off with B.E.71)

I take this Brussss thing sort of like Mcvay getting excited about a player he likes & sees a fit(need) of certain skill sets. In HENDO the word Mcvay would use now more than ever in that Kamari report would be EXPLOSIVES!!!

Henderson still has skill set,but his NFL career has changed some of his dynamics. His body has had to change because of his role & what he was asked to do.You can’t be ask to change your body type in such tough position.

Ben Sko is playing FB & TE in his role right now. Even know they a both RB spots HENDO can’t (hasn’t) been that FB type.

I won’t get caught up on it.Talking about Gurley would bring open up a whole nother thing.

Simmonblaze,am I missing something? I guess my question is what I thought I heard(Les Snead) to what was written.

What Les Snead was saying might have MEANT something else ?

I will go into with posters? If cool….

I will say how INTENSE Mcvay was vs. the Hollywood theme of the draft.Bith Hollywood though, just a different like & concept.
