FWIW I have nothing against Von, he aided the Rams in getting a ring and then got paid, that's what athletes need to do, also, I'm sorry he's lost for the season that hurts Buffalo for sure.

That injury just kept escalating every week, wtf? At least we don't have that contract on our books to worry about. Dude has been good for a half season of football for years now. Luckily we got the good half out of him last year.

The NFL has a good amount of luck component when it comes to making player moves and winning. There are no crystal balls to see the future. The Rams had a remarkable year last year staying healthy with the Stafford and Miller moves paying off. This year it was half and half on the injury front with Robinson and Wagner as far as injuries. You look at injury history to get some clues but, you just never know.

The Bills took the risk to guarantee Miller extra money. Miller made a choice to get more guaranteed money. So far both parties have been unlucky. Miller's injury takes away from the intrigue of whether or not he could put the Bills over the hump. Their season isn't lost yet. This is part of what makes the NFL so interesting.

Agree ... although @El Chapo Jr insists he has "Magic Balls".

The NFL is like no other sport ... in my opinion. Greatest of Highs ... 2021 Rams. Lowest of Lows ... 2022 Rams.

Teams have to be really good and really lucky at just the right times ... like last year's Rams!

That's why I believe fans need to enjoy the ride. Unless the Ride breaks-down ... like this year's Rams

Karma is a bitch.

I wish no harm on anyone, but you'd have to be blind to see that his decision to leave was the first domino to fall on this season. After we counted on re-signing him and he gave us no indication he wouldn't accept a fair offer.

17 games and playoff run was always going to be a challenge for Miller at this point in his career.
It's why imo letting Miller go, as much as the Rams may have wanted him, it was the right decision.

Glad the Rams don't have Miller's contract on top of all the other challenges they have going into 2023.

This is exactly why miller signed that deal

You take the money because you never know when it could end.

von miller obviously also part of the deal made with the devil for the Super Bowl.

Everyone must pay.

Ramsey sucked in the super bowl last year.... so he didn't make the deal and is still playing.

It's obvious.

That's exactly why I hate him. He should have been honest and told everyone I want to be paid then no harm no foul instead he was worried about his fake important image that no one cares about. When he said oh I had such a tough time deciding at the 11th hour to sign the Buffalo contract which is utter bullshit he had decided the minute 5he Buffalo offer came in instead he had to lie to press to gather sympathy he is a POS and he knows he is.

I'm not sad for him a bit. Karma bit him in the knee. Enjoy that Buffalo winter on crutches.

Yup me too. Strange board, the vitriol at a player doing what he wants. Forever part of a RAMS SUPER BOWL WIN.

For me, this underscores how medicine isn't as "cut and dry" as many think.

Von had access to the best medical care in the world, yet the interpretation of the MRI didn't suggest a torn ACL.

Different doctors have different opinions, and there are definitely still limitations to our understanding and technology.

Should David Edwards retire? Should Stafford have surgery to protect against further spinal cord injury? Tough questions without (necessarily) obvious answers.

Another great lesson on why you don't give long, substantially guaranteed contracts to folks with a injury history( cough*cough* Gurley cough* cough*)
