Game could have gone either way.

Defense stepped up at the end. Gurley not having much of an impact again. That is my biggest concern.

O-Line slightly improved from last week. Still couldn't pick up a blitz which is concerning.

Don't have much to vent, despite the loss. Was really looking bad in the first half, we at least seemed to gut it out and had a chance to win at the end. Just too many mistakes. But this one is not on Goff, and I really don't think you can put it on McVay either. We moved the ball up and down the field all night. If felt like they started looking like the O of the last two years.

On D ... what happened to the D we had for the first three games?

Roughing the passer was key
Fumble was key
Goff still got us in range to win and GZ shit the bed.

This team has lost its magic.
That's my new fear with this team. Someone is gonna shit the bed every time we need them not to. Dropped passes on the drive before, an absolutely inexcusable delay of game, and after all of that we still miss the field goal.

The team just isn't good enough right now.

Special teams is not good enough. Offensive line play not good enough. Secondary is not good enough. The play calling is not good enough. Jared Goff is not good enough - it's unreal that some will blame him for tonight's loss, but on the whole this year, he hasn't been good enough. The receiving corps has not been good enough. Too many costly drops.

This might have cost us the division, and I am not convinced at this point that the Rams will beat our other teams in a strong NFC for a wild card birth.

Onto the next game. This season has an ominous feel to it. Many teams fall apart after a Super Bowl appearance. So far, the Rams seem to be on pace to join that group.
