The New York Football Giants are hurting and they were lucky to win last week in Arizona. I don't expect this game to be pretty as the Giants seem to be a team on the decline, but I am hoping they rise up and surprise the hell out of me.

I'm not sure I can stomach watching the ass kicking this will likely be for the Giants. I'll check in at some point in the first half and see if its competitive and make a judgement at that time whether to continue.

The schedule makers clearly wanted the 49ers to get off to a good start. They figured we wouldn't be competitive and gave us legit contenders to start. I hope we throw a monkey wrench in that strategy.

This game looks to be SO MUCH OF A BLOWOUT that it could actually be fool's gold.

Good thing I'm not a gambler, but if I was I'd have to put some cash on the giants. I've seen this kind of trap before. Watch the giants cover... or even pull an upset.

But... these Thursday night games usually result in a win for the home team.
