Funny I too enjoy watching the Steelers lose, however, not sure the timeframe of when the dislike occurred a good friend of mine in the Air Force was from Pittsburgh and liked all the Pittsburgh teams constantly bragging about the Steelers so I guess it started in the mid 80's, but it also could have been during the Bill Cowher regime, where IMO, every Steeler fan back then looked like Bill Cowher.

Never really liked them but stated to despise them when the refs and the suits in New York handed them the game in 2019 against the Rams.
