Rams have traded Jalen Ramsey and 2023 and 2024 1st round picks to the Ravens for shutdown CB Marcus Peters and a 2020 6th round pick.

I'd rather just draft a left tackle. Clay Matthews is hurt, and I've heard that Washington might try to trade Ryan Kerrigan if they do trade Williams, so I think that this doesn't happen.

Hope he is checking to see how to manage the cap.

No 1st round picks and high price players = no depth.

Okay. I still don't think that Matthews would be the price to go to Washington for Trent Williams. That team is in free fall, and they'll want picks.

I'd trade for him. Adding him now seriously upgrades our OL and they could use a pick this year, not next year...

With our cap, I don't want to get into a bidding war. Once we get guys in the house, they don't want to go.

And just like with Ramsey, you can't do better in the 2nd or 3rd than Brandon Scherff.

Plus, we'd have him for the rest of this year

While i'd like that very much, I don't think our present CAP situation would allow for it.
