Master Splinter takes offense to all these rat comments too

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Facepalm GIF
Loved the TMNT cartoons. Splinter was always awesome in those (have to admit my favorite turtle was Raphael, but I loved all of the characters).

Looks like he's executing a male cheerleader move in that pic. :laugh4:

Would never wish injuries on any player, however I am not sad that he hasn't panned out for them because he can't get off the training table.
Honestly, Pearsall might be one of the better receivers in that draft, sad to say; there's really not a single receiver in that draft taken after him (Jalen Coker aside, but everyone missed on him. And I guess Whittington could be a good receiver in his own right if he's ever given a chance.) that I'd be comfortable taking above Pearsall in that draft.

Man… that game is like choosing between a used tampon and a shit sandwich.

I like the idea of the whiners having to come into SoFi and I can’t stand beagle fans. But there’s no way I can get myself to root for the fucking whiners. Just can’t do it.

If the Niners can get off to a good start, the Eagles will feel pressure at home. They get tight at home when things are not going well. However, not sure how that Niners D can hold them down all game long.

I think they will be able to put points on the board. The Eagles D improved, but they have had a number of games that has made them tough to evaluate. Two very cold games against GB & Detroit where neither of the teans could score. Dallas lit them up in the 2nd half of their game and the Bears ran all over them.

They lost to the Chargers, but played well on D. However, Herbert was playing with one arm and their OL was a mess. Then they played the depleted Raiders & Commodes. They looked good in a rainstorm against Buffalo, but not ideal conditions. The weather looks to be unseasonably good this weekend in Philly.
They may have displayed a pattern over Siriani's tenure. Which is why I suggested in another thread, we could see Harbaugh in Philly.

2021: Up and down all year, went 9-8, lost WC game.
2022: Started out 8-0, finished 6-3, went to the SB
2023: Started out 10-1, finished 1-5, lost the WC game
2024: Started out 2-2, finished 12-1, won the SB
2025: Started out 4-0, finished 7-6, ?????????????????

They should take him in a heartbeat. However, the pattern seems to be to hire a coach who just can't screw things up and be a guy who understands that Howie runs the show. Not sure Harbaugh is a guy who will sit in the corner when it comes to all personnel moves.

Hard to call. I do recall reading Ozzie Newsome was the first and final word on personnel decisions in Baltimore, so it's possible Harbaugh could cope with Howie. If not, his agent can always propose "either JH has a say in personnel or there's an addition 25 mil tacked on if he's terminated prior to the contract ending". See what Howie wants.

Only rival I'll be rooting for is Green Bay. Chicago's pass game weapons terrify me. Well, given the state of our secondary. Seriously though they have a stupid assortment of weapons. Their backup TE would start for us.

Saw an interesting graphic on Shanahan. AS 49ers coach since 2017 when trailing by 7+ at the half he's 1-29. 31st in the league. When trailing by 7+ in the 4th quarter he's 0-38. Dead last in the league.

Watching a lot of their games one thing I noticed is when things are going good they are very good. When things get tough they choke. It seems like he's way too tied to his playbook. Not able to adjust to what teams are doing. Doesn't want to deviate from it. As good a coach as he is creating mismatches and scheming receivers open, he's one of the worst at adapting to situations.
