Yeah - great. They F”d up all the way around..Goung to find it curious though when Debo plays with his buddy J. Daniel’s.
Am I the only one who doesn’t think that trade was slam dunk for the WFT? Unless they plan on getting him the ball behind the LOS via screens and run plays, he won’t be the producer they think they’re getting. He’s just not that good of a receiver, but he’s trouble when he has the ball, squared up and moving forward.
The WFT bailed out the 9ers on this one, IMO.

I agree. He’s getting older, fatter, slower. He may start strong early in the season but I expect Deebo to fade fast.

I'm biased because I've always liked the Tavon/Percy Harvin type of players, but I would always want a "just get him the ball" receiver on my team, especially if they're a number 3. So I would gladly pay a 5th for that chance. Imagine trying to cover Adams and Nacua while watching Kyren out of the backfield, and then Deebo is getting a screen or a jet sweep now and again.

I live in Commodes territory. Local radio, and fans have a problem on their hands. They don’t want to pay Terri McLauren as a WR1 receiver one and they think Deebo Samuel is a WR1. McLauren ain’t happy and he’s going extreme opposite by saying he should be paid top five wide receiver money. And stating he’s being disrespected in negotiations.

That’s my thing with this situation:
How are the WFT planning on using dweebo? If it’s strictly as a WR like he was with the 9ers after they got mccafe, then they’re not gonna get their $$ worth out of dweebo.

They do as you suggest, they get more production out of him than just having him run routes like a typical WR.

I don’t know who’s more insane? I’m SMH at everyone in that scenario.
He thinks he’s a top 5 WR? He’s barely a top 5 in his division!

And there’s no way the WFT should be paying dweebo more $$ than mclauren.

I think they have a similar plan to what you and I agree on. The only problem is, if Shanny couldn't do it anymore, can they?

IIRC, dweebo wanted to be paid as a WR when the time came, and to reinforce that he “requested” to carry the ball less.
In comes mccafe and nobody cares that dweebo isn’t getting touches in the backfield.

Meanwhile, he’s already starting to resemble a retired RB…
Pudgy.

The Rams had a player I liked who was a nice draft pick, but was what Would call a Poor-Teams Debo.

I’m not a Fan & loved how he cried last year & got into a fight with the place holder or backup punter.Anyways as a Rams Fan last year he missed a game winning season ending pass that left them out of the Playoffs & a loud Tge Rams a chance to stay in it.

Then the Rams Playoff NFC Championship game were he was actually talking madness to only GO HOME CRYING!!

The player I was thinking about was from S..C Cocks!!Now that he is back south I could see him fitting in.

The NFL is tough & there are a lot of good teams. My hope is The Rams just keep building The Franchise right.

I live in 49er territory. They loved Deebo but they also knew he was not a WR1 type receiver. He's a below average route runner with average hands at best. He excelled in Shanahan's system with quarterbacks who excelled at throwing the shorter passes. Made his living on yards after catch. Breaking tackles and using his speed for big plays.

I think Washington fans are gonna be disappointed when they see he's not WR1 material. I don't know much about McClaurin but he's a better fit for WR1 than Deebo. Although I can see the Commodes hesitation in giving him a big contract. He'll be 30 in a couple months. Give him a 4 year extension and what will he look like in a couple years?

If I were Washington I’d wear his ass out on screens, sweeps, runs. Get one year out of him to get a better position for the playoffs.

Yeah he's going to be very effective for them underneath. Just make sure you use him for what he does best. At least until he inevitably gets stupid about it.
