Looking at different salary cap websites... the Rams could get about $100 million under the cap next year.

They would be moving on from Boom, Havenstein and Allen in that scenario.. as well as Higbee. Doesn't seem far fetched at all, imo.

They need to bring in real contributors in this draft and we have to hope that the 22 draft class turns out well.. meaning Bruss has to be a starter.. Durant needs to be a high-level contributor.. probably Lake or Yeast need to be a real starter.

Next year, you basically have all your picks.. I doubt they get much in compensation.. maybe a sixth-rounder or two between Mayfield, Rapp and Scott.

This year has a lot of good players in the top 150.. I would trade down and package end-of-draft picks to get as many above 120 that I could. If you end up with 5 there, you can make a real impact on your 24 roster.

Need a home run draft this year, imo.. something at least like 2017 or 2018 at the worst.

24 should be a lot of fun.. this will be a Rams fan year to watch for development, imo.. and hope they're able to scratch out a winning season.

My main target for 2024 is Andrew Thomas. We're clearing the cap and he can slot in at LT for many many years if we secure him.

That's exactly the kind of move you make when you have big $$. A difference-maker at a key position. LT, QB and Edge/Pass rusher.. imo.

Getting 100 mil under the cap? Signing a bunch of high priced FA's? Yeah that aways works.

Color me "Skeptical".
It's not much different than how we built a Super Bowl winner. Trade for veterans or sign free agent veterans. Just have to pick the right targets.

Some FA's.. maybe leveraging future picks along with the cap space... like they did for Ramsey.. or, if you like, how Miami was able to leverage their space and a 3rd rounder for Ramsey.

I guess it all depends on how much you believe in these guys.. and I'm not saying you don't.

It’s nice to look ahead, but The Rams have MISSED more than I would like. I believe in The Rams(front office).
There was a rumor(cowherd) which not sure how true, but if it is Mcvay wants more control. Then this might be The NEW direction The Rams go ?
I can say The Rams don’t have the TALENT the Hags)2 1st.rd picks) or NINER’s have.So 2023 is going to be tough.Still what about 2023?

McVay already has all the control he wants/needs... Cowherd is just pulling stuff from his ass.

23 is going to be very rough, imo. That's the way it goes.

I would agree, unless we’re talking about QB and LT.
I think the team is looking ahead there.

When haven’t The Rams been up against The Cap? Yes - Bruss vs. Creed Humpries is a MISTAKE!!

Jacob Harris & T.Lewis both CUT!!
B. Hopkins was only TE in 2022 he hind Higbee. WTF ? It was more than The OFFENSIVE LINE!

There’s more than 1 way to Skin a Cat. Les Snead does a GREAT JOB making adjustments & Trades during the season.

Come The Trade Deadline The Rams can still use that 2024 Cap
to take on Veterans & give up Draft Picks.

Who is to say? Just upsetting in a sense The Rams could have done better. I know the way I would BUILD The Rams & I think The Rams(Snead) is WRONG in building a STRONG RUN GAME!!
Goes back to Gurley.IMO Detroit & Goff are doing it right.
My hope is a BIGGER (220)RB in 3rd rd..

The Rams can still back end a FA.
I’m curious on what happens to The Rams own FA players like Robinson DT or Greg Gaines ?
—The A” Robinson the WR? I think he might have been thrown in as just RUMORS of being traded. He is an Excellent WR.Who is going to have a Good Season?

I don't think they'd do that.. because they'd probably have to put significant $$ on a 24 deal because of how crushed they are in 23.

I don't see it.

That’s your opinion on The 2023 team. I see it as The Rams being a Younger Team that plays HUNGRY!! I look at 2022 different than almost ALL RAM FANS.
-That is Sean Mcvay(Front office) shut the season down early.Of course doing it the right way.

—Don’t know how you vision The Rams roster? I see this NEW COACHING staff really finding another gear.

Well like I say a lot around here. Will see. Right now everything is UP in the AIR.
What happens to The Rams 2022 FA’s & who they bring in as a FA will paint another picture.I’m not the artist, but do have a vision from the past.
Right NOW the 2022 Draft was a COMPLETE FAILURE!!! Funny Les Snead couldn’t even tell you(reporter) about who he even drafted.

Sure, it's my opinion.

It's an opinion based on all the information we have in front of us.

Does that mean they'll suck balls this year? I sure hope not. But this team isn't contending for a division title, much less a Super Bowl, unless they have some absolute superstar rookies.

Don't forget about Matt Gay signing the richest FA contract for a K ever. Not sure how that factors into the comp formula, but it's not nothing.
