I'm having trouble sleeping. I can't eat. My fingernails are almost gone.

I've done some mighty stressful shit in my life. Disarming anit-personel mines. Guard duty on the DMZ in Korea. Driving my Kaw Mach III 130mph on I-5. Getting married.

After all the nail biting games this year, culminating in Sunday's last second FG, I'm stressed out.

I'm done with the "do this, run that, play it this way". I'm too old for this shit.

It is hard to believe McVay doesn't look 50 with the way this team has aged the rest of us. Can we please finish the season with 2 comfortable wins? I'm not greedy, just keep a 14 pt lead through the 4th qtr.

I was about 80/20 confident that this will be a pretty safe bet at a dub. Come Saturday it dropped to about 60/40.

This week, idk I'm shaky. On paper, everything is served up perfectly for the Rams. Due for a dub, more talent top to bottom, at home, Super Bowl on the line. I'm about 55/45 right now. I think I'll truly be 50/50 Sunday unless it comes out that some of their players can't go.

On the flip side how sweet it is when you win the whole enchilada. The key is to try and enjoy the ride.

I posted a similar out cry on the other thread....I wanted to start "an everything is going to be ok thread" but I literally get heart palpitations typing this. It's on my mind on all our minds I assume. I can't function. I see something so close and I have a piece of me that is confident and another piece that says law of averages but then that we can't beat these muthafukas thoughts pop into my head and heart and take over. I try to prepare myself but a loss in here and I don't know I we would recover. I'd be literally broken. I just want to win this game it would change everything. Help guys!!!!!!

I'm even trying to put a positive spin on that we let them in uncharacteristically by blowing a lead like that ending mcvays streak. Maybe to help pave our path to destiny and now we get to take them out to move on. Had they not been in maybe we aren't here or we in Green Bay. I try to stay positive like that but the doubt creeps in. Hope the players are better at this than us

For some reason I feel real calm and relaxed about this one. If we lose we lose. But I don't think we will lose.

It's gonna be an ugly scrum of a game though. 9ers will pull us down to their level with that defense and beat on us a bit. But the Rams should be able to find a way to pull it out.

This has been a successful season. Being one of the top 4 teams in the NFL is really, really, really good... AND this team has been fun to watch.

I remember your camp reports at the start of this season. You were really impressed with the team overall if I recall correctly.

This season was meant to be. We're gonna kill them 9ers Sunday, and whoever is next. I'm not doing the nervous thing this time around. I'm just counting the minutes til we get to watch the show. Go Rams!

I have an emotional ride on every pass play. When Stafford goes back to throw, I’m nervous until he releases the ball. When he’s able to step into a throw, I have a moment of optimistic anticipation as the camera pans to the receiver, followed by joy/relief when a catch is made.

FWIW after this game I informed my wife for my obituary or acknowledgement or what ever they are going to call it, do not communicate that I was an avid sports fan, just write that the Los Angeles Rams were an obsession.

Just be emotionally ready for shitty Rams offense. This 9ers unit shut down Dallas and Green Bay in their stadiums. This is why I say it's gonna be a balance and field position game and hopefully the Rams pull away slowly and finish the job this time around.

IF the OL protections are as good as they were with Tampa the Rams will do what they did to Tampa and move the ball at will. But they still have to finish drives and this SF defense is in a nasty place.
