Oh the irony of my new team (Knights) opening vs my old team (Kings). Just figures don't it? Ah hell gonna enjoy the series regardless of the outcome.

I didn't see a sportsbook option for this year's playoffs, maybe we'll get one?

Boston picks are all the rage but I can't see it. Or can't allow myself to see it perhaps and I don't think the Pens have the same mojo this year... I'm going with the Leafs in the east, and the Preds in the west. I do think the Knights have a chance, but inexperience is probably going to hurt them.

Yeah this is true. One of my concerns with the Knights is the ridiculous nature of their record, seems to not translate once the playoffs start. If they can get by the Kings I'll get really excited, but just gonna enjoy it tbh.

Friend of mine offered me a seat for tonight's game (his wife doesn't want to go lmao) but got too much goin on here in Cali won't make it back. Real bummer. Hate when real life gets in the way of my sports affiliations sigh.

Agreed and I feel similarly about the Sharks. So nice to see those two idjits playin each other in round one...

The first round series I look most forward to is Boston/Toronto. Man that's gonna be a fine series.

Literally don’t know who’s playing and that’s a shame. Always liked the violence of hockey but grew up in the desert so literally nowhere to play it. :/ I guess Vegas would be cool to root for.

VGK has quite a bit of playoff experience on that roster (Fleury, James Neal, Nate Schmidt....just off the top of my head). I could see them going to the conference finals.

Actually got to see the game (surprise, surprise....it WASN'T blacked out). Wife was watching it with me, decked out in her Flyers jersey. I was trying not to smile too wide as that red light kept going on.

Still...it's just one game, and I didn't want the Pens shoot their offensive load in one evening. I expect more pushback from the Flyers tonight.

Hard to believe Washington again lol.

Winnipeg is an interesting team. Kind of rooting for them in the West. That stadium is insane and they are a big tough team. Love watching the bigger teams wear down the faster teams.

Honestly, I'm more surprised by the way the Pens played in Game 1. Never would have predicted their PK would hold the Flyers to ZERO SOG in 4 PP opportunities. But that was Game 1. Moving on...

They've been Jekyll & Hyde all season, except for that stretch in January through February when they surged up in the standings.

When Matt Murray's having an off-night, he's all leaky goals & glory holes -- and that's just what we saw in Game 2. And when Hornqvist clanged that screamer off the right post, I knew it was gonna be one of those nights.

These guys need to get their heads screwed on straight - Game 3 in Philly is gonna be tough.

Toronto actually dominated most of the 2nd period. They just came up short and when Boston got on the power play they buried 2 quick goals. Game was actually closer than the score indicated. I think both teams are very evently marched

Listened to the Bos/Tor game in the car driving home from FL; Boston announcers didn't think it was close.

Yeah I didn't expect them to get rolled. Suspect it's because I picked them tbh. Preds are so good even my bad ass luck can't tank them though.
