I gotta ask, if you know somebeody on Facebook/Twitter etc who posts excessive selfies, do you say anything to them? Man, there's a family member of mine who posts like 5-6 selfies EVERY DAY. Its insane. Cant post a picture of his kids at the beach without his fat face in the pic.
Anyone else know anyone like that?

My girlfriend's sister does that shit. She lost a lot of weight, so she probably just finally feels good about herself, bit it's still annoying. I like to comment, "Nice! Looks just like the one you posted yesterday!"

I can understand the mentality of taking a selfie. Your most comfortable with yourself so you may take a better pic than you would with someone else. But posting excessive amounts is annoying. I'm with @-X- here photoshop that shit

I am not comfortable with myself, I am a bitter horrible piece of garbage, so, I assume no one would be interested in what I am doing. No twitter (although I do check in on a couple several times a day), Facebook or any of that.
To me (beyond organizing events, business stuff or some family stuff) it is a way for people to feel more important than they are. Chances are your life is boring and sucks. Deal with it.
But, thats just my opinion.

I like the photoshop idea but I dont have the skills. I guess whats more annoying than the excessive selfies are the comments from some people that almost entice him to do more. I cant even "like" a photo he posts unless he isnt in it. Which of course is never

If smartphones had been around on the Titanic.

Camera phones have changed everything. Everyone's life is a big adventure and they are the star.

My wife does this stuff--all the time. We played mini-golf the other day and she had to take pictures for Facebook. Like, really?

Who cares?

I'm not saying that some pics aren't interesting. But mini golf?

Book us for a reality show it's just so thrilling.

Once upon a time everyone just lived in the moment. Now we see the moment through a camera.

99% of the people who are friends of mine on Facebook know what I look like, same with Instagram, so I don't see the need to post selfies..but will post pictures of who I was with when I did whatever it was that I did lol

My guess is narcissism. But that doesn't bother me as much as what some others do.

One lady I know, who is a sweet person in real life, daily posts pics of her grandson. I now refer to him as the Antichrist.

Others constantly troll for likes. "Don't you think this person deserves a like?" No, I don't damn it! I swear, if I wasn't so hesitant about hurting someone's feelings I would empty out my Facebook account by 99%.

OMG !!!

My daughter and her friends are the queen of Selfies , they must take like a 1,000 a day

The good news is , finally about a year ago , I finally got her to stop posting them all on Facebook and Twitter , and Instagram.
, she doesn't post much on Facebook or Twitter at all anymore , but she'll still post a few on Instagram.

Even though they don't post them much anymore , it sure hasn't stopped them from taking them though......................lol

To be honest I'd rather see selfies than the stereotypical black and white photos in the middle of a random field or in front of a barn, usually with an old rusted out car or wagon in the shot. Bonus points if there's a pet or livestock involved. How original.

Doesn't mean I like selfies tho.

All fishing for likes.

I know a girl that is trying to lose weight. She must have some app that makes her skinny in photos because when you see her on Fakebook she looks very thin. When you see her in person it looks like she gained 80 pounds. I kind of pitty her. She has been depressed about her body type since she was a young girl and you can just see that without starving herself she will never be skinny. I just don't reply but all of her friends tell her she looks great on the fake pictures. It must be a girl thing.

There is another chick that I just blocked. She is butt ugly and she is always trying to post provocative pictures of herself and everyone replies with 'beautiful' and 'gorgeous'. Someone needs a reality check. She also posts negative stuff about men quite often too. If your ugly that is no way to find a mate.

I always said that it wouldn't be too bad being a really hot chick, with the free drinks, people kissing your ass everywhere you go, always thinking the world is so nice because that is how you were treated your whole life. But man, being an ugly chick must be pure hell.

Don't tweet... or instagram.. and only use FB when I have someting out of the ordinary to share... like going to a concert... or nice restaurant...or vacation... etc.

Don't check it very often... many times it's a week or so before I check it.

I am very well aware that my day-to-day life is not exciting to anyone. And I'm not about to waste their time.

Hope those aren't yours lol, but it'll be super awkward when I say they're definitely lookers.;)

Anyway, I always thought the addicted selfie takers were for the amusement of all.

I'll only take one to update a profile image or to show off my changing beard styles to friends I can't exactly see in person anymore.

Only one is mine . The one on the right in all the pictures..but I feed the others enough . Does that count ? They went and stayed at my brothers place up in Minneapolis last week for a few days . I think they took like 9, 000 selfies
