I honestly believe the Lions have a great shot here and will become fans of the Rams in say about 1 week

important game. if the lions win, they have a shot at homefield so will go all out against the Vikings the last week of the season.

We do need the Lions to win. If they lose they have nothing to play for next week. They'd likely be sitting starters against the Vikings. Of course if the Viking lose both teams have nothing to play for. Then we'd either have to beat SF or hope the Bears beat the Packers if we don't.

Think this one comes down to how much pressure Dallas can get with their 4 man rush. Detroit has a great line but key is keeping that rush out of Goff's head.

On the other side Dallas has great advantage.

I think the tell will be can Campbell motivate his guys to play smash mouth football from the onset to the end? If so, this should be an entertaining game.

Come on Lions finish the season strong! Defense will have to play out of their minds and JG needs to stay sharp for this one.

Hrm think I need to look at the logic of the seeding again.

The one game that would mean the most to us is the Seahawk/Steelers game. If Seattle wins out they end up with 10 wins.

If we beat NY and SF then its simple. We're the number 6 seed. But SF is going to be hard. They not only have a better roster they've also had our number for quite a while. Losing to them would put us in a spot where we need things to happen. We cannot be tied with GB or MN for that last spot. They'd have the tiebreaker over us.

Seattle losing means we can get in by beating the Giants. So much still up in the air with those last two spots. There will be more clarity after week 17. MN/GB game will leave one of those teams out.

Not sure Minnesota would win a tiebreaker against us but at this point, I want us to win first then we wait and see what our path is after week 17 is over.

If we beat the Giants Minnesota would have to win out to tie us if we don't beat the 49ers. But if they win out they'd have the better conference record. GB would have the head to head if they win out. I'm pretty sure you can count the loser of their game out of the playoffs. If the winner of that game wins next week and Seattle wins out then we'd have to beat the 49ers to get in. I like our chances tomorrow but next week is gonna be tough. And we will be underdogs.

The most likely game for GB to lose is this game against the Vikings who have everything to play for. So I for one am pulling for the Vikings on this one. The Vikes close with the Lions who just beat them. Campbell isn't going to roll over because he wants his team to have momentum going into the playoffs. This is especially true if they beat the Cowturds.

The Turds are a Jeckel and Hyde team, i.e. you don't know which one you will get. The Lions will be gunning for homefield so they will come in highly motivated.

This team is better than the one the Niners squeaked by early in the season. I think all these ifs and buts are irrelevant because I believe the Rams will sweep the final two games. I wouldn't mind the Seahawks getting in because the Rams outmatch them should we have to face them again. That said they might get by Tampa but would have to face the Lions who I think will have the #1 seed. The Lions outmatch them as well.

Well thanks for doing that research, I honestly gave up on doing it since once the games are done tomorrow, we'll have a more straightforward answer as to what gets us in the playoffs already. The only one scenario that is cleanest is us winning and Seattle losing, which I'm sure many of us want to happen. I agree that if next week with the Whiners is an elimination type game with them needing to win to get the #1 seed, it's going to be a tough game for both teams. No matter what, our Rams need to bring their A game for the remainder of this season. Can't have any slip ups.

If Choke Prescott can't beat Detroit at home in a nationally televised game with a charged up fan base and everything supposedly going his way?

It's time to move on to other quarterback options in my extremely humble opinion. :)

I see the Lions beating the Cowpaddies. The Paddies are schizophrenic but they are also a fraud. Look at who they have beaten! They have beaten bad teams and lost to good teams. The Rams weren't playing well when they played the cowpaddies. So the cowturds record is a fraud. The Lions if they simply play the way they are capable of playing should beat the cowgirls.

It's why I always hoped the Rams would draw them in the playoffs. No way they beat the Rams now. Same with the Eagles, many of their wins came because the opposition simply out bumbled them. If the Rams are lucky enough to draw either the cowpaddies or the crows the Rams will beat either one. It's why I always felt that the Rams would make it at the very least to the divisional round. I still feel that way.

Lol out bumbled them. That's how I saw the majority of NE victories in their "glory days." They just sat back and watched the other teams fuck up trying too hard to beat them.
