My understanding is it is a deal that is backloaded with a fairly small percentage guaranteed.Andy Dalton signs 6 year, $96 million contract extension. Sam doesn't seem like such a bad deal to me. Who knows?
Blows me away. Andy Dalton? I hear Mike & Mike talk about it and Golic said he'd take Dalton over Sam. Drives me nuts.
I would take Dalton over Bradford too but I think the Rams are already at the ginger quota and would have to pay a luxury tax if they go over right........

I don't really disagree, and in fact don't understand why people are so down on Dalton. If he was the Rams' QB, he'd be getting a shit ton of defense for having to throw to the likes of Amendola and Hoomanawanui as opposed to A.J. Green and Jermaine Gresham. As would I. From a non biased pov, Dalton is a better QB than Bradford. Tough as nails, and has had 3 good seasons, progressing in each.
Yup, just too much to ignore having an elite WR to throw to. But even though Britt may not be as good as Green, it'll be close enough that Bradford's numbers will easily be top 10 this year. His rating was already higher than Dalton's last year.I don't really disagree, and in fact don't understand why people are so down on Dalton. If he was the Rams' QB, he'd be getting a crap ton of defense for having to throw to the likes of Amendola and Hoomanawanui as opposed to A.J. Green and Jermaine Gresham.
Oh wait...
From what I've heard, seen, and read Dalton hasn't won in the play-offs, and doesn't do well against elite teams. So I'll stick with Sam!! ( Dalton's contract is back-loaded, and they can loss him after two years with-out costing them much!)
I'll take AJ Green over any of the Rams receivers any day.
If Andy comes with AJ, I'd take Andy but otherwise give me Sam.Yeah, it's not even close. Green is elite.
