What did we all think Saffold would be worth at a discount???? I mean 11 million if he was sincere about a discount we could figure a way to give him 9.5/10 million. This is going to hurt in my opinion and man I hope I'm wrong.

Maybe it was the guaranteed money if anyone know how that works in regards to the cap please explain I'm bummed about this and does the contract he got even meet the formula for 3rd round comp pick?????

Dont like this at all. Saffold was a staple to our oline and now our oline is looking thinner and less experienced. Im happy whitworth is staying, but he was dropping off at the end of the season, if he does that again and Noteboom has to take Whits spot, who plays guard?

Always like Saffold and sorry to see him go but 11M is too much for guard and I feel like we have the depth in place to replace him internally.

I was thinking Rams would do something like 4 years $9m/year and work the guaranteed $$$$ to be competitive. I would have hoped the Rams could at least have matched the $22.5m guaranteed. Disappointing.
