It would be great to hear something about why he isn’t getting more PT. He was supposed to be an athletic freak ready to kick the door in.

I haven’t seen anything to explain his absence on D. Anyone have information about this from the team or a reliable source????

I knew he was supposed to be raw, but to be passed up by Durant, Kendrick and Haley has been a bit of a surprise.

Remember he came from a smaller school so the jump and speed to the pros may take time.

I was wondering the same thing about Rochell the other day. Off the chart measurables and nothing. Nada. And where is Jacob Harris.. our 6'5" freak that runs a 4.4. Not even sniffing the field anymore.

If we use camp as tea leaves Kendrick and Durant are just better.

With David Long likely leaving as a free agent, we should expect to see a good deal more of Rochell next season.
Idk that we should. Durant and Kendrick seem to be the cb3 and 4.

That's what they said last season lol. I mean the Rams are playing rookies over him. Doesn't bode well for him imo

We'll test that theory next season, but you may just be right. Rochelle has 2023 & 2024 to pull himself together, so we'll see how his continued development plays out.

Didn't we release Harris? I thought he was gone.

Rochell is a victim of Morris' soft scheme. Rochell is better in man coverage, i.e. zone played like Staley's scheme which a hybrid of zone/man. If the Gods are good Morris will be gone next year. Bring back Aubrey Pleasant from Detroit.

I don’t think Rochell not playing has anything to do with a specific coach.
Maybe but I agree with Old that Rochelle is a man to man CB and not a zone CB and since Morris defense is mostly zone defense that Rochelle does not match up with Morris.

We could be wrong about Rochelle but I have seen many players not match up for specific coaches.

As an example, Kevin Greene was a 3-4 OLB and when forced to play 4-3 diminished his skills tremendously.
