I think this was around 1994. I was throwing a party at a giant house near Melbourne FL in a gated community that was on the Intercoastal. I knew the guy who had just bought it for an investment property and he allowed me to use the house for the party. This party was mainly just for dudes... they were all in the trucking business and most were from out of State. Needless to say, I had arranged some real debautchery for this thing. That is one of the reasons so many came from out of State.

When you pulled up to the house I had chicks in evening gowns doing the valet parking. This house was basically a mansion... when you walked in there were 2 giant curved stairways on either side that went upstairs. I had 2 strippers dancing on each one. I'm not going to describe what was happening in the rest of the place. I will just say that people in the trucking industry still talk about it even today.

Anyway, fairly early after guests started arriving, one of the strippers came up and told me that the neighbor was at the door and wanted to talk to us. I went out there and it was Loni Anderson. My dumbass invited her in immediately. She looked in and saw the strippers and politely declined. She told me that she had seen ladies in nice evening gowns walking down the street parking cars and had to come over to find out what in the world was going on LOL. She wasn't rude or angry, just very surprised. She thanked me for inviting her in and told me she was the next door neighbor... she said that it looked like we were going to have a great party and told me not to worry about being quiet. Then she went back next door.

I found out later that she and Burt Reynolds bought the house next door together... but they were getting divorced, or had already divorced, and it was just Loni staying there now. What a trip.

RIP Loni... what a beautiful AND VERY NICE lady!

Just from THAT NIGHT alone!

But I can't tell those.

I'm also full of useless information and facts. Useless being the key word there.
People tell me I have many stories also. Yours are much better.

I find myself holding back. I just grew up in the right places at the right time.

Things just happen.

Don't stop.

Oh, I'm not sure about that... the stories you've shared have been kick ass. Especially that score board one in a very disgusting and stank stadium. That one is BEYOND EPIC.

I hold back too Brudda... but I get reminded of memories reading here all the time. Some are just too good not to share... but believe me, I have to hold back too. LOL. I'm a fucking Rampa (grandpa) now, of course I have stories. Old AF in other words!

I don't like boring... or sitting on the sidelines/bench. Life is too short, and I don't pretend to be a saint. I don't know who said it here years ago, but it's a great description of how I participate here... I like to post here like I would speak in person if we were all sitting at a bar together.

I'm about to go tell Cammy you guys said hi and to quit being a baby over a double stingray tagging. LOL. Too bad ya'll are on the other side of the continent.

I like hearing all of your stories. I am reluctant to share some of mine as well because if comes off as a "humble-brag" which can be pretty nauseating. But I don't see it that way. Like you said, @SWAdude (just got off one of your lovely flights Monday AM from Boise. wonder if you've ever flown my ass around.) But these cool stories should be shared- we are just in the right place/right time.

It doesn't make me cool that I was once Joe DiMaggio's hero. Just a fun story I've shared over the years (too many times according to my wife) :ROFLMAO:
