RIP Joey Jordison #1

This afternoon Joey Jordison, aka #1, passed away. For those less familiar with the drumming icon, he was the heart thumping mastermind of the percussion, instrumentalist, and a founding member of Slipknot. When major bands like Korn, Metallica, Rob Zombie and others were down a drummer, they called on #1 to sub in.

I remember he left Slip Knot like 5 or 6 years ago , think he had some kind of Back , Spinal disease

never thought it was life threating though , so I wonder if he had so other medical issues

I've never been a real big Slip Knot fan , screaming Thrash , Death Metal has never been my thing

although , they do have a few songs I liked

I always took a little interest in the band , seeing how their from IOWA

all one needs to know about joey jordison is the time he filled in for lars during a metallica show after doing his own set and not missing a beat (pun intended.) always loved the beginning of disasterpiece among many others. loved how he would ride on jim thomson's shoulders before and after shows as well. 46 is way too early, but he certainly got the most out of his life.
