So Gurley goes into the day with the league lead in rushing. Le'Veon Bell on his heels. Pitt knows that Gurley is resting, but they decide to rest Bell anyway even though he could have easily snagged the rushing title.

KC on the other hand, gets Hunt out there just enough to get the yards to win the rushing title.

Priorities ....

Many RBS have incentives in their contracts for rushing targets/titles.

Honestly, if I was a player I'd want the rushing title. I'd tell everyone I didn't care to be politically correct - but i'd want it.
However I would definitely not lose any sleep over it if I didn't...

Yeah and Andy Reid's a "player's coach" up to if Hunt had a major injury.

If you REALLY care about a player, you don't "sweat the statistics", you keep him healthy so that he can "kick the ballistics" next year.

Only reason they're all not being branded fools by everyone is because Hunt didn't get Carr'd.

Think the Bill's wish they could have rested LeSean McCoy?
Hell no!! I bet it’s his his contract to get a sprained ankle if they get into the playoffs... stop talking silly.

In hindsight, definitely but they were trying to win a "must win" game not pad stats. McCoy gives them the best chance to win.

Yeah I wasn’t suggesting they should have (they had no choice), only saying he’d have a healthy ankle if he didn’t play... if they could have sat him.
