It wasn't even a damn punch. It was more of a shove. And I'm sure the frustration goes back aways. Seems like Rapp gets out of position easily on passing plays.

Or maybe Rapp was calling out Jalen for his poor play and shying away from tackling, who knows. Still classless. No excuses.

Jalen missed quite a few assignments last year, he has no cause to get physical with a teammate regarding poor play.

Ramsey is the top shelf CB in the NFL right now, aka the Ramsey Island. Rapp prolly had it coming.

Ramsey Island??? LMAO. Mike Evans and Jamarr Chase sure LOVE playing on that "island." Darrelle Revis he AINT.
How many times has he matched up against the top WRs in the league and shut them down? Quite often. To me, CB is the 2nd hardest position to play behind QB. Especially with the way rules favor the WRs and O.

With that said, the WR is going to win a play here and there.

Two things are true at the same time here.

First, Ramsey shouldn’t have publicly disrespected Rapp in that manner.

Second, Rapp IS prone to mistakes at times so I’m guessing that he just made another.

As an aside, I hope Rams can trade Rapp for a pick or player. He no longer really has a position in this D with the emergence of Scott and the addition of Wagner. It would be an addition by subtraction kinda thing. Imho, at least.

ESPECIALLY if we bring in Mathieu.

Well, he talls like he's Deion/Revis level which he clearly is NOT.

I’ll be honest with you every interview I’ve watched of him as a rams I’ve actually been quite impressed by his demeanor. Seems very smart and comes off as a good guy.

He’s the best corner in football at the moment. If he’s not Deion/Revis that’s ok those are all time greats. Couldn’t be happier he’s a ram he makes us soooooo much better.

Totally agree and I am impressed as well. If you watch his interview on The Pivot, he critiqued himself pretty hard and admitted to his mistakes in the playoff run. Also, CBs can make the right decision on 57/60 plays and get criticized for the 1-2 bad plays…

Was a huge proponent for Jalen trade AND Extension. Did he drop off in my eyes a bit since then, yes. I'm still glad we have him and hope he can bounce back and be a top Corner in Football going forward.

I think some of the best corners don’t get tested often as QB’s shy away from throwing their direction. Jalen really had 2 bad plays in the playoffs…the TD to Evans and the long pass to Higgins? The TD pass to Chase was clearly a foul, so I’ll give him a pass on that one. Corners who rarely get thrown against can get a little rusty.

It was the long pass to Higgins that was the foul, and I've thrown ZERO blame JR's way for that one. He got beat deep by Chase in the 1st, but the play that burns my ass the most is the first play after Kupp's go-ahead Touchdown, he goes for the selfish pick on Chase instead of letting Chase catch and tackling him IN BOUNDS for a short gain. Chase gets away for 20 AND stops the clock out of bounds. Really doesn't seem like an "elite" corner to me but I guess that's just me....
