  • TY NSEKHET, LOS ANGELES RAMS
    tn

    Rams signed OT Ty Nsekhe.

He'll replace Joseph Noteboom, who was lost for the year with a torn Achilles on Sunday. Nsekhe has often come out with favorable PFF grades -- he had a 72.5 in 145 snaps for the Cowboys last season -- but has never really handled a full workload of snaps. He could get an extended opportunity with a Rams team that has spent the entire season Down Bad on the offensive line.

Didn't see where this has been posted anywhere. He has been solid as a fill in the last few years. I believe he may have started his career with the rams if I'm not mistaken.

Good depth guy for a first time NFL starter in Jackson. There was a time I wanted the Rams to sign him and didn't realize he was in the league the last couple of years. Should bring some good support

Jackson has been a find for sure. The guy excels and looks natural at guard and tackle. Hopefully he's booms long term replacement

Don't know much about him tbh. Maybe @Rynie can weigh in here, I'd be interested on his take on him.

What? How do you not remember him from 2012?
*sarcasm*

Good pickup based on how this season has gone so far.
I remember him blowing through town or whatever but in those years I tended to take my breaks when the offense was on the field. :laugh3:

The Rams will need a real LT eventually. Boom may never be back to LT and let's face it he wasn't Jackie Slater to begin with. His best shot will be guard but either way he probably doesn't start the season next year and if he does does anyone see him being better or even worse?

Since LT don't grow on trees there is one available that I know of and that's Cameron Erving for trade or Fischer for free or as I've said both to get us bk on track. Whomever they plan to accquire should be done while you have all this time to get them acclimated to your offense your defense whatever. Wins will be at a premium we have lost 3 games already and that's fine with the division being weak but can't throw wins away on making moves but no time to gel. We have enough issues lol

That's interesting. We let him walk, he went to other squads, and he eventually became one of the NFL's best swing OTs. If he can still play a bit, he's a good signing.

Ty Nsekhe is a decent backup OT. He will give the Rams depth as a swing OT. He's a bit long in the tooth but as a backup for one year he could be serviceable. It would buy the Rams time to get Arcuri on track.

With Allen at C this could be a serviceable OL until they get Shelton back. Shelton is a better option than either Edwards or Evans. Both of whom I see gone next year.

So we now have five St Louis Rams I believe.

Troy Hill
Malcolm Brown
Ty Nsekhe
Rob Havenstein
Aaron Donald
Crazy. If you had asked me back then who the 5 would be only Donald would be on that list. I've always appreciated Big Rob but doubt I would have had him as one of them.
