ST. LOUIS, MO (Shane Gray, Missouri Sports Media)- Just moments after the St. Louis Rams defeated the Seattle Seahawks Sunday in the Edward Jones Dome, it was obvious that head coach Jeff Fisher’s attention was already turning to their next challenge: a prime time Thursday night home game on the NFL Network against another NFC West rival, the Arizona Cardinals.
“It’s Wednesday right now. How’s that? It’s Wednesday, so the players know that,” Fisher explained. “So, we’ve got to rest up and get the plan together. The coaches have been working over the weekend and we’re going back to the office this afternoon.”
St. Louis quarterback Sam Bradford hopes the Sunday win gives the Rams momentum on a short week heading into the aforementioned upcoming battle with Arizona but admitted he isn’t sure what impact the victory will have in relation to Thursday night’s performance.
