Higbee is in the bottom 5 in that article.

Higbee is #7 on our salary cap this year. #9 next year.

PFF rates him as the 45th TE.

He has REALLY fallen off.
IMO, been a tough year for Higbee as I'm still confident in his ability. With all other areas of concern unless they can find a cheaper alternative, IMO, I would give him another year with the hope of finding his replacement in 2024.

Thats not all on him.....and, the PFF grades only mean so much.

Terrell Lewis in his 3rd season in his 4 yr contract...injured his back again. He has had problems with his back going back to Bama. In 3 seasons he has only 7 gm.s but finished only 5. Does anyone believe that #52 is starting material in the future?

Strong Safety Jordan Fuller is also in the 3rd season of his 4 yr contract. He was elevated to starting SS in his rookie season. Fuller has had 4 injured reserve events thus far in his young career.

I would think that The Rams Org. will be counting on him to start with UFA's Taylor Rapp & Nick Scott's departure, after this season..... IF Fuller can finally remain healthy.
Fuller was injured late last season in gm#17 & placed on the IR & missed the Rams Championship run just like Rapp did.

I am holding out hope that we can see FS Quentin Lake (PUP) & SS Russ Yeast get a chance to showcase their skills in the next 6 gms. I have no idea if Lake's knee is healthy enough.

The Rams do not have any safeties signed on the practice squad. Snead only has 3 safeties signed for 2023.

I'm hoping Fuller can send Rapp to the bench. The dude has zero coverage skills. But I would expect the Rams to take a hard look at that position this off season.

He’s looked “off” more than a game or two, but yeah… not a lot of players in this offense looking great right now. I hear you.

Until someone comes up with something better PFF has its place.

Should have paid him & let Allen walk, but at the time I understood the decision
Yep sure appears to be another decision that did not work out (putting it in mild terms) for the 2022 Rams. If it were possible I would trade both LT Noteboom & OC Allen contracts for the OG Corbett contract.

Rams sure have missed him greatly this season while going through an unbelievable record amount of interior OL'ers Bruss, Edwards, Anchrum, Jackson, Evans, Shelton, Brewer, Allen & Kolone total of NINE. I have never seen an NFL teams run through so many OL'ers before week #10 of the season. This would have to be an injury record in the NFL of modern times.:bueller:

The team currently is working through interior OL'ers Oday Aboushi, Matt Skura & Cole Toner. Rams might be entertaining signing one of the top 4 or 5 UFA OG's in March of 2023. Veteran OG's like Wes Schweitzer, Evan Brown, Elgton Jenkins, or even Dalton Risner. Leaving Bruss or Anchrum to fight it out for the other starting OG.

My Co-worker who was a fan of the Redskins prior to this year says that the Redskins were signing guys off the street left and right in 2018 or 2019 to play on the OL - he can't remember the year (and yes I said Redskins because that was their name in those years)

Can someone do a comparison?

I know it was a rocky start for him but there are 6 more games & much to learn ....onward!

I believe the Rams are looking @ the 7th rd rookie Arcuri OT future @ RT not LT. Getting the assignment to start his first NFL game against the playoff-bound Chiefs was something to see.

I say congrats to AJ Arcuri for the mission accomplished getting out of it in full health & ready to start again this Sunday.

Another thing here....starting the rookie who is under contract for 3 more seasons after this indicates to me that the Org. is now looking forward to building with the few OL elements they still have.

Starting Evans @ LT might have put a veteran in that starting lineup that would help but it would do nothing for the future 2023 season. McVay letting AJ Arcuri get this valuable experience is a great sign to me.:thumbsup1::clap::sunglasses:
