Limmer graded out 29.9 in pass blocking. He is so good at run blocking, but IMHO, is too much of a liability in pass protection. I would go with Dedich over him.

They probably will, Limmer is better suited for Center than Guard IMO.

Wonder if Dotson is gonna miss any time...

I consider that a down game for Verse. He didn't look like the same dude. Well other than his complete disregard for contain.
At times it seemed like
Verse was getting the AD treatment, I.e. double team. Lots of holding too. But he seemed to push the pocket a lot.

Correct and one reason that Limmer slipped in the draft was his inability to play guard. However, it appears that the Philly game is still in his head because he whiffed on several pass blocks including later ones that thankfully Stafford had thrown the ball quickly.

Sorry I feel strongly that Dedich although smaller is a better option than Limmer and IMO, should be active over him.

He was getting double-teamed and triple-teamed a lot. I think that is likely linked to how Young seemed to flash a lot, at least to my eye from the TV broadcast. A grade of 90.6 is surprising to me though. Verse didn't look to be the best Ram defender on the field yesterday to me. But that is what the PFF grades suggest. Take them with a grain of salt I guess.

Anyone know Shelton's grade? He looked awful to me. I was not a fan of his the first time around. He was very meh, and now he is years older, so perhaps he will only be worse this time around. He won't kill you, but ideally should not be starting. He's really just a useful backup IMO. But we paid him $12 million almost fully guaranteed! I would have rather ran it back with Limmer and spent that money elsewhere. Although not perfect, Limmer gives us more weight/anchor in the middle. I think people are bias against Limmer because he sadly got owned 2 plays in a row, at the most important time, against an elite DT in Jalen Carter, which likely prevented the Rams from a Super Bowl appearance. But Limmer wasn't bad last year. Particularly when you consider he was rookie. He should be improved as a sophomore with more experience making NFL calls and picking up on NFL stunts from opposing d-linemen. Would I like to update from Limmer? Yes. But I'd be surprised if Shelton is an upgrade.

The Rams draft insanely well, which has resulted in lots of talent at a cheap price. If we didn't fumble our pro level signings and re-signings so frequently, and instead were cap efficient with those dollars, imagine how unstoppable we'd be?

Happy to see Stafford playing well. That was a good front so going to need a few more games to see how the O Line is this season. Limmer subbed in and it's not easy to step into both guard spots like that. Hope to see a better O Line performance in the next game.
