Next game up: Sheattle.

Really hope Buffalo beats them to hell this Sunday.

Doesn’t look like they have to many major injuries right now.

We are -1.5 favorites right now

No Metcalf tmo most likely that will hurt Seattle’s chances

This will be the Ernest Jones revenge tour.
I'm afraid so. Figure he'll have them shoot that knee up if necessary so he can play balls out. He'll give it everything he's got in this game.

But that aside what drives winning or losing in this game is the secondary playing well and our OL continuing their good play. If those things happen I'm not afraid of Seattle and Jones shouldn't change that result.

Fuck Seattle, Fuck Minnesota, Fuck Buffalo. When healthy we can beat all of them!

We want Buffalo to win not because we can't beat the Seahawks, but if they lose to Buffalo and then us we would be in first place......(depending on the Cardinals).

I figure this one will be a bit of a shootout, probably a 20s and up type score. But I'm also curious to see if this defense is really turning the corner. Past two games they shut down an inept Raiders offense, then the Vikes for 3/4 of a game after allowing that hot start. So this game should be very enlightening.

I don't pay much attention to what happens in the 1st qtr. Plays are scripted and the defense is trying to find out a way to deter the offense. Once they got into their groove the Vikings offense couldn't get much going.

Once the script was over Darnold became Darnold again.

Geno Smith has been sacked a lot this season. If the Defense can again stop the run they can really get after the QB. I think we could possibly blow them out. Stay tuned.

Enjoying some Hawk tears after todays loss to the Bills.... :dizzy:
from the SeaHawks.net forum:

Our OC belongs in college

I don't care how awful your offensive line is. When the other team is missing their MLB and you run the ball 16 times for 19 yards in the rain at home it's your OC's problem.

People disagree, but you're right. Grubb is a trash play caller and his schemes are vanilla and suck.

It's pretty obvious this is a rebuild.

They're a ridiculously sloppy squad, and that's on coaching.
This is absolutely a college offense. No flow, can't run it. It's heinous.
Should've let his ass follow DeBoer.

A first time NFL OC, with a first time NFL OL coach, under a first time NFL HC who also calls the defense. What could go wrong?

Josh Allen pumping up fans in our own stadium

Damn guys 2013 feels so far away

The loudest were the boos lol. Glad to know our fans were still the loudest in the stadium at some point. EDIT: Booing our own team btw. Lol

I don’t blame season ticket holders for selling tickets, would you pay thousands to watch this disaster the team is showing currently and since 2014

General thoughts 8 games in

As someone very high on Witherspoon, his season has been extremely disappointing to me. His jawing down 31-10 on essentially a dump off really bugged me. Especially when he did it to a guy who went 9 for 107 on them and routinely beat the secondary. He was the 3rd overall pick and came in expected to be all over the field making plays. He's been 'in position' this year but I cannot recall many times he flashed. There just aren't many guys putting the team on their back and saying I got this; he was expected to be and isn't.

Next week will be interesting. McVay learned how to consistently beat Pete's defense by the end but isn't a physical/mauling style. I could see the defense playing better like they did against the Falcons.

Overall I felt Jones was 100% an upgrade over Baker and him being a step out of place is understandable with only 4 days on the team. Don't think Dodson will be returning. It may just be that although talented, some of the guys simply aren't good scheme fits and they'll need to shuffle.

Walker 9 carries for 12 yards
Charbonnet 3 carries for 4 yards
Geno 5 Carries for 16 yards

College style offense. Lol. Should have kept Bevell after all these years IMO. Dolphins have one of the better scoring offenses every year Bevell has been there. The stats back it up Completion %, Total TD's, Passing Rating, and Yds/Att. Dude can still coach an NFL offense.

Well Jones had a lineman on him too. Not that I want to defend him or anything.

He will play great vs us I am sure, but hopefully in a loss.

Seattle fans are fucking idiots if they expected this year's team to do shit though. No QB and a young HC who is gonna learn on the job.
