Where is Darius Slay most likely to land?

I am told right now the two teams at the top of the pack to land Slay are the Denver Broncos and Los Angeles Rams.

The Rams are interesting considering they traded for Jalen Ramsey last year. The Broncos are expected to lose Chris Harris in free agency so Slay would slide right in.

I call BS as well! I was shocked to even see this... We could make it work but but I think it’s highly unlikely.

Maybe this is a smoke screen to get a little leverage in the Ramsey agreement?

It will all make sense when the Rams trade Ramsey to the Dolphins for nothing in two years. (Blue font)

This is definitely strange I can't see what they would be able to give up other than two things that come to mind.

1. The above poster mentioned cooks I don't totally discount that yes the dead money would hurt but keeping him and he always hurt is the same thing not to mention the money it would free up for Kupp the following year. The way the Rams finally discovered the tightened Woods Reynolds Kupp Higs Everett and an excellent wideout class in this draft along with other options via cuts or a prove it type guy so crazy as it sounds it may not be that crazy. Patricia practiced against cook daily and knows his character and skill gallowday jones and cooks is a nice trio for a qb stafford or a young dude.

2. Talking out of my ass tagging fowler and then trading him for slay is possible no??? I personally don't think it's necessary to get slay I'd rather acquire someone of more necessity but having two legit lockdowns isn't crazy and slays money is what like 10 million this season then free agent. I did think hill earned a starting spot but maybe hill would get traded for a pick or something elses of necessity.

Not sure here .....we may be in for one crazy ass offseason!!!

Who said we haven't been? I just mean this one in particular might be the craziest going forward but we shall see. Considering we have already turned over most of our coaching staff that's already a lot so now we wait. Also with the new stadium the unconventional handling of the combine . Coach and the orginization seem to be on an even bigger mission it would seem.

While the thought of having Ramsey and Slay covering both sides of the field gives me a bit of a hard on I just don’t see how that is economically viable. Hill really blossomed the back half of the season last year and is one of our cap friendly deals atm. We invested a decent pick in David Long and Williams played ok. About the last thing we need is another cb. And we can’t pay both Ramsey and Slay top money. Just don’t see it unless, like others have said, we use it to trade away some bad deals to Lions for a Slay one year rental.
