We have the cheapest defense in the league. I'm sure they can scrape up Byron young money etc. Of course they wouldn't be able to say they have the cheapest defense in the leauge anymore but........cmon man !I am beyond thrilled for Byron Young, but he is gonna be very expensive next year and I would not be surprised if his agent tells him to hold out. And I don't think the Rams can afford both him and Verse. This is probably too early for discussion but the Rams could probably trade him next year for an additional TWO first round picks... similar to Micah Parsons. It just sucks that we have to lose great players because we can't afford them all.
looks like Rams have to win 4 to pass Seattle and SFView attachment 73998playoff games won since 2000. we can do better.
Considering for more than half of that time the Rams were truly an incompetent organization, I think that's pretty good.View attachment 73998playoff games won since 2000. we can do better.
That post about Byron Young was written on October 31st when he was tearing up the league and the pundits were claiming he might make 40 or 50 million per year. Since then, however, his play has not been quite as good so maybe the Rams can sign his for less. I hope they can retain Young and Kobie Turner but you never know what other teams are gonna pay for these guys, or what their agents are telling them they can make on the open market. I don't think either Young or Turner will hold out of training camp next year though. Hopefully the Rams can sigh both of them before they hit free agency. They are both high-quality and high-motor guys.We have the cheapest defense in the league.
