Gaines already had a mini-breakout in 2021, but he still hasn’t become a household name around the NFL. That could change this year. As the unquestioned starter at nose tackle without Sebastian Joseph-Day in the mix, Gaines should play a ton of snaps and show why he’s one of the most underrated defensive linemen in the game. He’s a very good pass rusher for a guy who lines up over the center, and his ability to plug up running lanes is better than most. Didn’t Gaines breakout last year?

I’m going to say it’s Blanton. He may have the best chance to really take the next step.

Akers would be amazing and is a great choice. Boom too. Gaines already broke out seems to me. Edge would be nice but unlikely I think.

So will go with Durant. We need a corner to step up big this year due to what will be a lesser rush.

I liked what I seem from Hopkins in the Superbowl. When it was crunch time in likely the biggest moment of his life he came through for the team. That gives me hope that he'll take the next step.

Whit is there at practice and I'm pretty confident he's there for Note.

My break through is ARob on offense. That dude with a real QB is going to steal the show.

EJ is going to be a great LB but he won't steal the spot light.
