as my less-than-impressed looking wife in her Saints shirt at the pub.

Your wife is a Saints fan? That can't be good. My wife was once a 49er and SF Giants fan because her father was. I told her that wasn't gonna work for me. Being a good Christian it is in the bible that the marriage should not be unequally yoked. So she switched from 49ers and Giants to Rams and Dodgers. Saved the marriage.
 
It did look like a great time. Great pics man. Question for you: Do you Britts do the wave at soccer games too? I noticed it several times during the game.

Yeah it’s generally brought out in slow games or friendlies at international level

they can be a bugger to get started because you need people to pick it up ... they generally start with a small group of like 5 People and 3 or 4 attempts to get going
