The NFL has the worst officials in all of the professional sports leagues. It’s not even close. It has made the league seem fake and unwatchable. Which really sucks for me because I have been watching this league since the mid 80’s. Also, player antics are becoming unbearable as well. Maybe I am just getting to the age where all of these guys seem so to act like children to me. Honestly, if the Rams franchise were to go away, I wouldn’t watch the NFL anymore.

It’s clear that the Refs were giving the Seahawks some home cooking. It is really sad that the refs in the NFL seem to want to have additional drama for the final seed and to have Seattle fans have to care more about this game rather than care about the integrity of the game overall.

IMO the NBA is worse and even more transparently bad. It has been since David Stern resuscitated the league in the 80’s. I stopped watching that shit show years ago.


Again JMO, but the NFL game really hit a peak of quality around 2005 or 2008 or so…and has been declining slowly ever since mainly due to officiating, instant replay and all of the analysis paralysis that stuff brings.

Now more than ever, to me, it feels manipulated and more like a production designed to create drama that reels in the more casual fans.

I didn’t say rigged. Manipulated, swayed and influenced are more accurate terms.

Traveling. Loose ball foul.
Holding. Illegal contact.
These are calls that are made constantly and are also ignored constantly. Seems a pretty convenient tool to sway games to me.
