I’m gonna take a look at Sellers first. He plays a decent defense today vs Va Tech. Was very impressed with Nussmeier last night and he is my #1 target at this stage of the season. Small sample size but i was envisioning him in horns last night.
Nussmeier very smart and a gamer at that, does make some great throws and also has the ability to extend plays, but is not always looking to run. Smaller frame QB at 6'1 (generous) and 205lbs (after a six course meal), but I have the utmost confidence in him during crunch time plus I believe he will be Quarterbacking for his Daddy come 2026.Was very impressed with Nussmeier last night and he is my #1 target at this stage of the season. Accuracy will be the challenge for Sellers. I love the kid, everything about him, so hopefully, he will showcase he has grown in that area. However, I have always preferred QB's that could run. In fact, many times playing in the military and at the collegiate level, I would say to the QB, just run and follow me.I'm with Dang; I'll take a look at Sellers before either of them.
Then the saints will have wasted a pick on aQB THIS year.Nussmeier very smart and a gamer at that, does make some great throws and also has the ability to extend plays, but is not always looking to run. His Dad Doug is the OC for the New Orleans Saints.
See the Arizona Cardinals. Then the saints will have wasted a pick on aQB THIS year.
Always good to have insurance, I suppose.
Add in that Tyler Shough was drafted in the second round, lost the starting job to Rattler, and is literally a month older than Trevor Lawrence (and a whole year older than Rattler), and I could easily see the Saints picking another quarterback in the first round in 2026.See the Arizona Cardinals.
Even after selecting Tyler Shough with the 40th overall pick in April?Nussmeier very smart and a gamer at that, does make some great throws and also has the ability to extend plays, ... plus I believe he will be Quarterbacking for his Daddy come 2026.

Even after selecting Tyler Shough with the 40th overall pick in April?
Absolutely, they'll more than consider it, and they should. Shough is not some kid who needs time to develop; he's going to turn twenty-six in September. He's a whole month older than Trevor Lawrence (who was a kid who needed time to develop) and a whole year older than the quarterback he lost the competition to (Rattler). He's been injured in a lot of his college seasons and ineffective in others; it was really only last year where he broke out, and that was against much younger competition.
The Saints absolutely will consider drafting a quarterback with their first round pick in 2026, and they should.
What a coincidence...I’m gonna take a look at Sellers first. He plays a decent defense today vs Va Tech.
Again see the Arizona Cardinals. And the Josh Rosen experiment.Even after selecting Tyler Shough with the 40th overall pick in April?
I think that's a bad example.Again see the Arizona Cardinals. And the Josh Rosen experiment.
That still gives him 10 -12 years if he's good and he never had the starting QB position so he didn't lose it to RattlerAbsolutely, they'll more than consider it, and they should.
