i know he's only supporting his qb now but here's the thing about nrc, he doesn't know when to shut the fuck up.

after his non call in the nfc championship game he couldn't shut the fuck up about it during the build up to the superbowl. instead of playing it straight down the line and saying he thought he got there the same time as the ball he was almost gloating that he got away with blatant dpi. all he did was ensure that the refs were gonna screw the rams in the superbowl and the rams couldn't say shit about it.

it wasn't enough that the media wouldn't stop showing the play for the whole two weeks, this guy just confirmed the narrative.

Exactly why I was over his ass after that.

Dont know if NRC was taking a jab or just pointing out what he's seen. Coming out of the draft thats what the analysis said too..Wentz coming from a pro style offense, making his own checks and protection calls from the line. And Goff coming from the air raid where they would literally turn and look to the sideline for checks, etc. Still Goff has the better, more natural arm talent and is 2 years younger than Wentz. Plus has shown to be much more durable in the NFL.

Hopefully the mental side continues to develop for Goff, but even more importantly is can McVay and his ego relinquish his strangle hold of the offense and give Goff more freedom at the line? Thats the only way that part of his game will grow. And IMO it was that + our oline that Belicheck exploited in the SB. Goff is in year 4 in this system now so when will McVay give him the reigns? Or is he the type of offensive mind who will never do that?

Could be, when Wentz gets to the line, under center, he tells his O-line, "hey man, someone better pick that blitz up as I don't want to land on my ass because of a blown assignment". And Goff is more like "who's got him?"

Hmmm ownership....how about NRC owning his own lack of ownership. This is a guy that ignored the scheme and his assignments to freelance. Own that dickwad. He was emulating Peters who gave up TD's to leave his guy wide open to freelance. NRC was doing the exact same thing on the infamous PI no call. He was good but not that good. Funny how quickly Williams made Rams fans say NRC who?

I hope he continues his freelancing and gives up a gimme score or two. He is the last guy that should be talking about ownership.

Given how often Wentz has been sidelined, I'd say his "ownership" of the Eagles' offense is pretty much a timeshare.
It’s like he’s a car lease. The Eagles can only use him so much during the season before he hits his milage.

NRC was awesome for us. For three years he was consistently one of the best slot CBs. He was asked about differences between Wentz and Goff, and as the reporter said, his answer was longer than what he tweeted. I don't see it as a knock on Goff, that's just how the media is spinning it

For what it’s worth I also thought NRC was a good player for us. He was good at defending those screen plays.

Goff is two years younger than Wintz and therefore has less experience. Kind of the reverse of Van Jefferson.

That little bastard. Also I think it demonstrates (along with Gurley pegging out the butthurt meter) that players want to be in LA and playing for the Rams.
