Overview

The Rams finish the year ranked 20th in the team survey. The strong grades for the staff – the players grade head coach Sean McVay very highly – “cover” for the lower grades for the facilities. Respondents also think highly of both their training staff and strength coaches.

The number one issue that the players have is with the facilities themselves. For the past several years, they have been using a temporary facility made up of modular trailers, which are not suitable for NFL standards. The team continues to promise a new facility but has yet to break ground. The club announced that they are moving to a new location next year, though it will also be another temporary one made up of modular trailers. Player respondents are skeptical that the new, temporary location will be a major improvement.

excellent.

The NFLPA chart -- you have to scroll over, then when you scroll down the titles down follow ... you have to look up and down to see the categories ... not a good web design by them

I'd imagine when new facility is built grades will go up

Yeah you can click team names to get the better breakdown which was broken in the quote you did of my original post but I have since fixed it. New facilities seem to be the priority but they note that players are skeptical of that being an improvement. I haven't been too impressed with the renderings of the new campus and players don't seem to be either. But at least they love their coach and staff.

That's pretty sad, especially considering the easiest things IMO to correct are Family Treatment, Nutritionist, and Cafeteria, absolutely zero excuse for those poor grades.

With the new facility weight room and training room should improve to at least a B.

Shocked that Rams say their locker room is too small and gave it a D+. Thought everything at brand new SoFi was “state of the art”? No excuses for that fail.

Cry-babies...how many of us went to HS and had to sit in a trailer in the Indian Summer heat? And we weren't getting paid millions of dollars to be there, either...

I'm pretty sure none of these facilities are at SOFI.
It's still the quasi temporary facilities at Cal Lutheran, or wherever their training grounds are.

I've been there years ago and it looked "temporary" back then before the Rams moved in. I had heard the usual BS that it's only temporary. When I saw it, Cal Luthern was being used strictly as a summer camp facility so it wasn't a big deal. Back then the Cowboys used to use it for their summer camps before moving to Oxnard because Cal Lutheran balked at upgrading the facilities. This was in the early 90s IIRC.

I'm sure the new facilities will be a substantial upgrade.

Looks like a new practice facility will change all that.

The family treatment grade irks me a little. That shouldn’t be related to the sub par training facilities surely. A bit of context here would be nice.

I wonder what people like us would give for grades?

We’d probably be like; A+, A+, A+, A+, A+, A+, A+, A+

The treatment of families might be due to security issues for access and also that the Rams don't give out 20 free seats or parking passes to players families when they come visit. Maybe they can tweak it so it's more coordinated for players and their families.
