I feel much better now.Giants at Redskins: Referee Jeff Triplett makes horrendous mistake
For the second week in a row, referee Jeff Triplette finds himself on the wrong side of a controversial call. In the Bengals 42-28 win over Indianapolis on Sunday, the NFL confirmed that Triplette reversed a call on the field that he shouldn't have reversed.
Referee Jeff Triplette’s crew should not be let off the hook here either. Widely considered one of the most error-prone refs in the league, Triplette allowed this one to get extra chippy, then put his foot down on Langford for almost no reason.
Triplette continued to come under fire when, in the absence of indisputable video evidence, he incorrectly overruled the call on the field that Benjarvus Green-Ellis had been down by contact at the 1 on fourth-and-goal and awarded him a touchdown that gave the Bengals a 14-0 lead over the Colts.
