.

How is Hurts better than Stafford? Bozo.

He missed so many throws in the playoffs. Stafford was clutch when every game was on the line.

And dak and cousins ahead of Goff. Fuck me these guys are useless.

Stafford is in a league of his own or did I miss something and Hurts actually won a Super Bowl? I look forward to Stafford proving that class is permanent while Jalen shows form is temporary

Brandt's a dumbass. I like Hurts but he's the QB who came up short. Ours is the QB who won multiple final-drive playoff games to win the title.

Anyone who thinks Stafford is at the same level as Cousins has no fucking clue.

Tier lists are stupid but once again illustrates that as long as Stafford (and other key stars) stays healthy there is no reason Rams can't be in the playoffs and, with a good amount of luck, compete for a Super Bowl appearance. Because NFC QBs are just awful.

Dak on the same level as Stafford? GTFO!

I mean I’d accept Cousins before Dak and that’s stupid too.

Maybe if you consider where everybody is of today? Not career accomplishments? But Dak still doesn’t belong tier 2.

Wow, the QB situation in the NFC is not good lol. I'm sure the NFL is hoping that Caleb and Maye are drafted in the NFC so there is some good QB matchups going forward, like there is in the AFC. Any list that doesn't have the Superbowl winning Stafford at 1st tier is just wrong.

Stafford is the best QB in the NFC.
Putting him in with Dak and Cousins is an insult.

Hurts is a close second but if he is contained and pressured, his accuracy gets really bad. Matthew was clutch under pressure.

My tiers and it's how many evaluators use, is by history of accomplishments, and talent. Case in point, Stafford's overall talent and accomplishments are elite, ergo tier 1. Goff has the talent but has yet to establish his history of accomplishments. That said he's only had a couple of losing seasons in his career both with a struggling Lions team. But he has raised that team's prospects from being a doormat to being on the cusp of proving themselves a legit contender. He has carried at times both teams Rams in 2019 and the Lions in 2022. He got the Rams to the Super Bowl in 2018. He was a top 10 QB last year as he was in 2018. I see him as having elite talent, but needing the resume over his career. He's right at the top of tier two or bottom of tier one, depending on how he plays the next couple of seasons.

A tier one QB elevates the play of those around him. Goff is capable of carrying the team when there is no one else as he did on a bad Rams team in 2019. The Rams missed the playoffs after Goff got them into game-winning FG range for Zuerlein who shanked a makeable kick. He did it again last year with a struggling Lions team positioning them to win at least 2-3 more games than they did, only lose at the last minute because of a defensive collapse.

Geno Smith, Dak, Cousins, Carr and others are tier two QBs simply because they either don't have the resume or can't put it altogether to be a consistent winner. Hurts has a hugely talented team around him. Yes he has talent, but he has yet to prove he can elevate the play of a marginal team around him. He has yet to prove he can be a consistent winner. The jury is out on him IMO.

Tier one QBs are elite not only in terms of physical capabilities but because they have the intangibles that make them a true leader of a team. Stafford is the unquestioned leader of the Rams and even HOF GOAT Donald knows that. Stafford has earned that respect. Hurts has EARNED nothing yet. In his two years as a starter, he's put up decent to good numbers, but hardly elite numbers. Hurts is a running QB and as such subject to injury as he has been 3 of the four years. These things take a toll and shorten a QB's career. Jalen has a long way to go to prove his an elite QB.

Brandt is your typical media moron.

Hurts lmao.

He’s a backup level QB that got to play with the most dominant Oline and WR/TE group probably ever.

Not to mention a defense that allowed him to play a safe QB approach.

Watch what happens when they lose their NFC pro bowl roster due to his contract.

Sometimes I think fans can be real homers. Stafford sucked last year. Granting him second tier was a gift based on an assumption that his decline was entirely injury-related or affected by a horrible o-line. After last season, nobody should rank Stafford first tier. He needs to prove that last year was a fluke.

Stafford did have a bad year. But one year behind an OL that suffered stupid levels of injury isn't going to undo what he did for that Super Bowl run. Not so long as he's still got his arm strength and health which should be the case. No reason to doubt that.

I've criticized the dude plenty for last season too, btw, but he's a cut above Cousins.
