8:15 PM ET — Minnesota Vikings at Chicago Bears

RamsOnDemand Sportsbook

“Is JJ McCarthy actually good?” feels like one of the most important story lines of the NFL season.
"Is Caleb Williams actually good?" on the other side as well. This is a game I would not bet real money on because I have no idea what is going to happen. Both defenses are potentially good to great and both offenses have questions but creative offensive play callers. But I respect Brian Flores play calling more than Dennis Allen so I'm going to give the edge to the Vikings if i were forced to choose a winner.

Bears have invested in Oline.

Not sold on Caleb yet
Yes. Entire interior O-Line is new, with two free agent signings and a trade acquisition (Jonah Jackson).

Interestingly, the Vikings also completely re-built their interior OL, with two free agent additions and their first round draft choice..

Here we go. Bears have a lot of intangibles in their favor. Can Ben Johnson get Caleb Williams on track?

New Vikings “rookie” QB…

Interesting game.

Jefferson should have caught that.

McCarthy looks the part, IMO. First impressions.

I’m no McCarthy fan but the kid has physical skills that Purdy can only dream of.
It’s obvious and if you actually watched McCarthy play at Michigan it would even be more obvious. And I rooted against him in every game he played.

I watched him play a ton at Michigan and wasn’t impressed at all. But… can’t deny his skills. Release? Perfect. Arm strength? Above average. Scrambling/run ability? Extremely under rated.
To my eye he looks the part in everything he does, without the results. Kind of Sam Bradford-ish

Well, I take back everything I posted.
