I'll admit that I lost a lot of respect for the man after his drunk driving conviction, but nobody can deny that he was probably one of the best coaches that Mizzou has ever had, and he lived and supported his players to the bitter end. And honestly, aside from that, he really didn't have anything but a spotless record, from what I can tell. This is a guy who lived and breathed football, and now he's retiring because of this.
Can I just say to hell with cancer? Please? I know so many people who have lost friends and family to it, I know people who have been affected by it, and it is a horrible, horrible disease that should've been cured by now with all of the money it has gotten. I just...I don't understand.
