"Five seconds left in the game. Do you believe in miracles!??
YES! Unbelievable" ~ Al Michaels.
This was the greatest moment in sports for me and it wasn't even the gold medal round in 1980. No way this try hard amateur hockey team could beat the mighty Soviets, they said. It was such a collective National moment among all political stripes as we emerged from dark economic times. I'm not even a huge hockey fan, but it's hard to describe how great it was, if you weren't there...
1. Miracle on Ice
2. 1999 Super Bowl Rams
3. Vin Sculley's call in Game one of the 1988 World Series.

Vin Scully did that with Gibson's home run too. He was such a great announcer.I like how Michaels let the crowd carry the emotions and didn't try to talk over it after his initial call.
