Really interesting to see him in this interview.

I wasn't always a fan of his demeanor on the field when he played, but turns out it really was a reflection of who he is as a person. Soft-spoken, humble, just a guy that loved to play football but not really comfortable with the other aspects of being a starting QB in the NFL, (being in the spotlight, always getting credit (or blame) for the wins and losses, etc.).

Appreciate what he accomplished with the Rams, and how he accentuated the positive regarding his relationships with the other players on the team, Kurt Warner and Mike Martz.

Not really a scintillating interview, but it fits with who he is. Hard to criticize someone who is as genuine as he.

"I liked Jamie Martin better,,,: ~ @Corbin
Dude I went to that game in AZ that Martz was quoted as “ he’s holding this team hostage” lol

Was bad shit!

Only one of 2 games I’ve seen the Rams lose. 18-2

Marc didn’t care about fame. Just wanted to play QB at a high level and help the team win. He helped keep the team from imploding in 2002 imo. KW’s thumb and confidence were in bad shape and Marc stepped in to an 0-5 team and led them to a 5-5 record and had the team believing in him and Martz’s system. He played great ball in 03, but the D wasn’t even average. Loved his cadence and hard count at the line and he threw a pretty ball.

Rainy city bitch pigeons fans probably remember him a bit differently. That comeback in 04 was insane... I remember him being unstoppable towards the end of that game, even smiling while lining players up and throwing lasers to McDonald and Curtis.
I liked Bulger & he had some extraordinary games, but he was a statue in the pocket and his surname was pronounced the same way as Ray Bolger the scarecrow in the wizard of oz.

The difference is Ray Bolger never would've stood a chance behind a Mike Martz o-line

Weird that the interviewer asked him why he retired early when we all know he got beat to hell doing those 5 step drops.
