Oh no, ... is he crushing on Taylor again ?

Hope the conditioning program helps him avoid sacks while keeping his passing mechanics intact or improved. I expect him to slow down when scrambling away from the pocket but he doesn’t need to risk injury like Wentz

Off topic here, but anyone know how he got the nickname "Bones"?

Goff instead needs to work on his mechanics. His arm speed. His release. His footwork. His pocket awareness. Over. And over.

So, yeah, I’m thinking he probably does.

We know he works with a throwing coach, so....

I'm thinking he needs to get the fukk down when Wentz would try to plough through.

Throw fuking strikes, Goff. Period.

So after he's all "buffed" out, what's he gonna do? Swat Nick Bosa aside?

Goff instead needs to work on his mechanics. His arm speed. His release. His footwork. His pocket awareness. Over. And over.

I’ve always wanted to see Goff add bulk, but yeah... what is the goal?

I don’t think Goff is suddenly going to become a running QB. And... if the added bulk is to help absorb shots in the pocket, his “Gumby” body type seems to do just fine.

So yeah. Added strength is good. But focus the energy where the biggest impact is... trust the coaches to help figure that out.

No surprise he’s ready to work!

BTW Goff's new Strength Coach apparently started out on the beaches of Southern California.

The article says he might add an offseason strength program.
The idea a professional wouldn’t have one is sort of mind boggling.
He can gain a lot of strength (who knows how strong he is) with basic lifts. A lot of intricate programming (balance board stuff for example) is mostly bullshit to keep guys busy.
At least he didn’t say he was doing something daft like CrossFit and didn’t say his goal was to get “buff”.....so that’s good.
