The Green Bay Packers (2-5) will welcome the Los Angeles Rams (3-5) to Lambeau Field for a Week 9 matchup that will be broadcast to many of the big markets around the country on FOX.
Kickoff from Green Bay is scheduled for noon. Adam Amin and Daryl Johnston will be on the call for FOX.
There are two conflicts, including one affecting parts of Wisconsin. The Minnesota Vikings play the Atlanta Falcons and the Washington Commodesplay the New England Patriots in the same time slot on FOX, so the map is split three ways. Viewers in parts of Northwestern Wisconsin will get Vikings-Falcons because they are in the Minneapolis TV market.
Viewing markets in Chicago, Detroit, Phoenix, Las Vegas, Denver, Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Houston, Cleveland, Indianapolis, Cincinnati and Kansas City will get Packers vs. Rams.

The game can also be seen on NFL Sunday Ticket through YouTubeTV. The radio broadcast is available through the Packers Radio Network or online streaming at Packers.com.

Does Stafford play and play well? That's the only question

I hope we sit Stafford. The man needs a break. I think we can win this game with the backup as long as McVay is smart.

He needs to run the ball, go with more 12 personnel and call the screen plays, do not ask Rypien to throw to the sideline often and take a couple of shots downfield, even if you have to bring in Dresser Winn to throw it.

Fingers crossed. If we can go win at Lambeau, in the cold, with a stack of injuries, with bye looming,, we will still be alive. Seems like most teams vying for a wildcard are crapping the bed just like us. Homers will always hold up hope right?

Los Angeles Rams at Green Bay Packers: Predictions, picks and odds for NFL Week 9 game

NFL Overreactions Week 8: Should the Titans roll with Levis? Time to worry in San Fran?

Scroll back up to restore default view.
The Green Bay Packers (2-5) seek to halt their four-game losing streak as they host the Los Angeles Rams (3-5) in Week 9.
Jordan Love and the Packers lost last week at home to the Minnesota Vikingseven as Kirk Cousins tore his Achilles. The quarterback went 24-of-41 for 229 yards, one touchdown and one interception. He was the team's leading rusher with four carries for 34 yards.
The Rams might be without Pro Bowl quarterback Matthew Stafford, who sprained his thumb in the team's 43-20 loss to the Dallas Cowboys. The Cowboys scored on offense, defense and special teams as Los Angeles struggled to keep up. Aaron Donald had two sacks in the game.

NFL Week 8 winners, losers: Gruesome game for stumbling Giants

NFL Week 9 odds, predictions and picks

Steelers vs. Titans | Chiefs vs. Dolphins | Falcons vs. Vikings | Ravens vs. Seahawks | Browns vs. Cardinals | Packers vs. Rams | Texans vs. Buccaneers | Patriots vs. Commodes | Saints vs. Bears | Panthers vs. Colts | Raiders vs. Giants | Eagles vs. Cowboys | Bengals vs. Bills | Jets vs. Chargers

Lorenzo Reyes: Rams 13, Packers 10

Even if Matthew Stafford is unable to go, I might still back the Rams here. But there’s no way I would jump on this until later in the week, to see what Stafford’s status is, and to also perhaps get a more favorable line, should the Rams announce him to be unavailable. The Packers have failed to cover any of their last four.

Tyler Dragon: Packers 24, Rams 22

The Packers have lost four in a row. Boo birds will get loud at Lambeau Field if the Packers have another lethargic performance. The Rams have to travel across the country for the second straight week and Rams QB Matthew Stafford has a UCL sprain in his right thumb.

Safid Deen: Packers 24, Rams 16

The Rams have lost three of their last four, while the Packers have lost four in a row. While the Rams can move the ball much better than the Packers have this season, Matthew Stafford’s thumb injury is the perfect opportunity for the Packers to end their losing streak at home in Lambeau Field.

Victoria Hernandez: Packers 20, Rams 13

The major key here is whether Matthew Stafford will play, but the Rams looked weak all around against the Cowboys. The Packers have a home-field advantage and something to prove in front of the Lambeau loyals. Green Bay had some close games in their four losses and finally pull out a win.

Jordan Mendoza: Packers 23, Rams 20

Both of these teams are desperate for a win to stop losing skids. The Green Bay offense is awful, but the Los Angeles defense has been shaky in recent weeks. With Matthew Stafford dealing with an injured thumb, the Packers capitalize with its defense getting the win.

He doesn’t need to practice all week.

See how it feels sometime closer to game day. With the bye, and a winnable game I hope he can go.

At least the cheese-heads don't have a bye this past weekend.....
Now if we can convince the refs to have at least a modicum of fairness... :laugh1:
