In all seriousness, their defense looked rather pedestrian when he went down. All this talk about Superbowl, its hard as hell to do. We had nearly everyone except for Cooper Kupp, and it took some clutch throws from Goff, a great game from Gurley to get us there. It is not easy, injuries happen; players get exposed for being a weak link, anything can happen. Their defense took a hit today, no one can dispute that. Not saying they are going to fall apart, but they run a 4-3 I believe. Your line backers can get easily exposed, and if they are down Kwon, they are going to feel it.

As good as the 49ers are or seem to be theres something keeping me from buying into them and I cant quite put my finger on it. I feel like they get knocked out of the playoffs fairly quickly. And it's not bias because I don't even dislike the niners. Time will tell I guess.

The Niners are on a roll but its only week 9 so too early to crown their asses. I don't think they do a good job of taking advantage of their opportunities. They were the better team against the Rams but a couple plays here or there and this game could have gone the other way. They dominated the Cards last night except for 2 nice drives by the Cards offense but damned if they didnt almost lose that game. I don't wish injury on any player but I also don't wish anything good for the 69ers so F them if they cannot weather the injury storm of a full season and F the love fest for Jimmy G string and his 7 yards passes.

You must be young and do not remember the 80s then getting our brains beat in by them in the 90s. All Rams fans MUST HATE the Niners, its a requirement.

I was born in '90, became a fan in '99. Cliche, I know.
I HATE the Seahawks. Russell Wilson and Pete Carroll and that whole Legion of Boom can go fuck themselves. The 49'rs are a very close second from me. I reckon that is just due to a difference in eras. Oddly enough, I don't have much hate for the Cardinals. I mean, I dont like them, but I dont hate them.

I grew up in Northern California in the 80s and dealing with Niner fans and their damn championships was horrible. Part of the pain was that those were some really good Rams teams, including an '89 team that was almost certainly the second best in the NFL.

Oddly, I really enjoyed watching two other teams besides the Rams growing up, the hapless Cards in the NFC East, and the Dave Krieg lead Seahawks. I could even root for them, since it had zero impact on anything involving the Rams.

My family moved to Washington in the 90s and I got to see quite a few Rams games in Seattle. I was at the game in 2004 where I thing the real hatred between the teams and fans took off. The Rams came back from a 17 point deficit in the 4th, Bulger hit Shaun McDonald for a 50 yard TD in OT, Isaac Bruce set his helmet on the field signifying the Rams owned the Seahawks stadium, and all hell broke loose. It was the equivalent of Ken Norton's goalpost sparring. My family left amongst a riot of Seahawks fans screaming obscenities and even throwing things at Rams fans.

Since then, I've been to numerous games in both SF and Seattle. The Seattle fans are a nasty group, but the SF fans are more dangerous. I've seen sucker punches thrown after games in Santa Clara and my friend was hit by a thrown water bottle. I also saw two girls in Rams jerseys pelted by food in the stadium.

Dude same here I was born in '92 became a football/Rams fan in 03 or 04 so I've never really seen a good Rams team until the past few years. My hate for the hawks started in 09 or 10 whichever year they beat us in that December game deciding who won the division.

The 49ers got on my nerves a bit when they had Kaepernick but this year im getting to where I can't stand them.

Alexander was on my radar as well as @Memento for the Rams to sign. Fast LBer can make a difference when healthy. He hasn't been able to stay healthy. They gave him a big deal.

Yeah, it's frustrating that he went to the Whiners. I did want to sign him. If he can't stay healthy, though...
