Turner doesn't have to be the second coming of Donald. He simply has to be the best version of himself. He's shown enough to build upon himself. He's going to be a solid IDL man with a very good career ahead of him.
There is a lot that goes into being an elite DT. Speed (particularly quickness), power, playing with leverage, and hand play. What he's leaning from Carson is how to improve his hand play. It's a big part of Donald's game, by not allowing the OL to get a grip on him.
It tells a lot about how he takes his craft seriously. Taking the extra steps to be not just good but eventually great. You have to love it.
