I thought it was a pretty solid explanation of the goal line situation. There are a lot of factors that go into making a call and not as many options as one would think. I even said in the chat room that without tight ends, it really limits us down there.
I still didn't like the naked call, with a QB that's limited, even Sam at full health probably doesn't make that particular play with the way it was defensed, but that play was put in because of their d-ends propensity to dive inside. Nobody would have expected a gimpy QB to bootleg, right? Sometimes luck just doesn't go your way--we know that as a fact this season alone.
