I can't wait til Mahomes gets paid. For that matter, can't wait until Dak gets paid. Suddenly Goff's contract won't look as bad, and the wisdom of extending him before those guys will be clear to everyone.
IF you're going to go there, then if it wasn't for the O-line, Gurley wouldn't have gotten 3 yards on average before contact in '17 and '18.
The nfl just needs to make a rule that qb’s salary doesn’t count against the cap. These contracts are getting outrageous
the owners aren't gonna give the players more money. they get a percentage of the gross income and that's it. the owners aren't giving qbs any more of their money.

Of course the offensive line was amazing Goff played behind that same line and who did the offense flow through.. now maybe it’s Goff turn he didn’t do too good last year when the ball was in his hands maybe without having Gurleys shadow he will do better but right now that’s the biggest question mark with this team IMO. I don't know, but we sure didn't get past the Saints and to the Superbowl with Gurley leading the way.
I guess this means the Rams can't restructure the roster bonus into signing bonus thus adding more cap room this year. A little surprising but, Rams don't mortgage the future. The Gurley and Matthews cuts give the Rams the cap space to not have to restructure Goff's contract this year.
