In the NFC West, which team currently has the best…

Quarterback
Wide Receiver
Defensive Player
Head Coach

I could make a strong argument that the answer to all four is the Rams.

Experience and depth issues
aside, I think that gives us a fighting chance this year.

I agree, but when looking at depth and health the Rams have huge question marks.

In the NFC West, which team currently has the best…

Quarterback...Matthew Stafford (if healthy)
Wide Receiver....D.K. Metcalf
Defensive Player....Fred Warner
Head Coach....Kyle Shanahan

If Sean McVay's rebounds this year and stays in it for the long haul, I will change my answer, but my gut tells me, regardless of the reports that if the Rams have another tough year, McVay retires and the Rams will hire a new Head Coach and it won't be anyone off their current staff.

Sorry, can't agree that Metcalf is superior to Kupp or that Warner is superior to Donald. Even missing HALF the season, he only had 15 less receptions then DK and was on another historic pace. In 21, when he was healthy all year, DK doesn't touch those stats if you stacked that midget Tyler Lockett on his shoulders.

Sorry, den, but you’re on your own on your choices.

Like Avenger, I have to give the Rams the nod on all 4 categories.

If they are all healthy and as we watched last season, that is a big "IF."

I agree but that's just 4 people. I think last year proved that it takes a whole organization to have a successful season.

Fred Warner > Aaron Donald???

Please.

I find all of your choices (other than Stafford) suspect.

Too bad it takes 19 other quality starters to be successful. We don’t have 19 of those. In fact, we might have the third weakest roster in the NFC West

“Quality” is a broad and somewhat nebulous term.

No it’s not. Most of our projected starters shouldn’t be starters.
We have 9 players who started on a Super Bowl winning team.

I’m betting we’ll have a lot more than three additional starters who exceed your “quality” threshold.

so less than half started, but even out of them, some were not necessarily “starting material” I’d take Stafford, Kupp, Donald, Higs, and Havenstein. As much as I love Van, he’s a number 3 receiver at this point. Williams is showing up, but he has to take another step. Jones, starter, but can be upgraded. Everyone else can and maybe should be replaced.

Who doesn't?
Who's under center for SF? Isn't this year when SF has all types of injury issues? It seems every other year they do.
How's the new boy genius in Arizona gonna handle Kyler?
Geno gonna have another stud season? Pete gonna keep trying to win "the old way"?

All things being equal the Rams might be #2 or #3 or tied for either. But when are all things equal really equal?

They do if you are picking players for one game. For a 17 game season, probably not.
