I thought the announcers sucked during the Rams game then I watched some other games and they all sucked!

So how many of you caught Bryant Gumbel calling Andy Dalton "Goff"? We did at least two times. "Goff throws to his right, caught for a first down for the Bengals". I kid you not.

After the second time he called him Goff, there was a long silence. My guess was the producer was yelling in his ear to call the right player.

Geeze, not even on the same team!
Oh yeah. Some of us mentioned it in the game thread.

And sync it with porn when we know we are about to get f**ked by an official.

Heard it a couple times and was like wtf?? Stockton did it at least once in the Falcon game last week also. Unreal. Goff gets blame for passes he doesn't even throw!!! Lololz

NFL analysts and broadcasting crews are at an all time low IMO. I like the old school professionals. There are too many wannabes in the both that don't belong. It's a sad day when the WWE has better ringside announcers than the NFL. And you know it's bad when a guy like Witten is given a shot in the booth. He was atrocious.

Yeah, Green probably hates the Rams. Just look at him saying that Brockers' supposed "roughing the passer" was a penalty, while the hit to a defenseless receiver in Cooks wasn't.

I don’t normally hang on every word announcers say, but this caught my ear too.

I found it almost as if he started down that opinion on roughing the passer... then refused to change that opinion after replays.

Was a little weird.
