While in the grand scheme of things I have no shits to give about the forty whiners.... After this gimme loss to the Shecocks we are gonna be so epically pissed. The Whiners are going to be SMOTHERED and overwhelmed. Mark my words.

McVay with a week and a half off? I trust he will have a very good game plan. Rams have a pretty solid schedule upcoming, I hope they take advantage. Great game of football tonight. Rams deserved the win but we'll be back.

Wishful thinking I believe. They should've been extremely pissed after last week's embarrassing effort . Nothing changed tonight on the defensive side . Better be prepared to win a shootout the rest of the year . Weddle is the only one in the back end that is playing football. There's no magic switch to turn on to fix this defense. 85 points allowed by two high powered offenses like the Hags and Bucs . Laughable

Taylor Rapp should be back from injury next Sunday, expect our secondary to play night and day from there. Marqui Christian is a backup safety at best

This defense is not going to fix itself overnight. Too many weak links

I'm so on board with this. We were in the zone tonight playing a team that made the plays to beat us (I don't think we beat ourselves this week) coming off two L's to play a division rival to keep pace in the West. Yeah. Whiners are fucked.

11 games left. If the Rams tune some things up they can still win this division and be the hot team down the stretch.

Last year's defense was worse. And they managed to do exactly what you suggest by playing at a high level in the playoffs.

This defense has more talent. Play's been hit/miss, but let's see where it goes. I still think they can be a top unit if they can get Peters' head screwed on straight. It behooves him btw, him being in a FA season, so I am confident things will improve.

I don't know. Something is missing with this unit . The middle of the field is wide open and I don't remember JJ making a play in awhile. Peter's and Talib seem to be the targets on every 3rd down .
These guys should know how to play Wilson by now , but tonight they kept charging up field and letting him step through the pocket and make big plays . Keep him in the pocket and he's average
It takes a lot of poor play to give up 85 in two weeks to average offenses
Who is going to pick their game up and contribute ? Donald , Matthew's, Fowler , and Weddle can't carry the other 7

I'd sit Peters first off, at the very least swap him out and start giving up his snaps to straighten his @$$ out. He's inconsistent and a dumb player. Pulled the same BS last year while Talib was out.

We'll get Rapp back, who is already a critical piece of this unit the way he covers and tackles.

Reeder played his @$$ off. Might have something to him on those early downs and he surprised me a bit in coverage too.

Gaines is coming on. Another good DL to mix in on early snaps at least and note he had some good penetration on the rush too.

Fowler has plenty of room to improve. Also every reason to do so just like with Peters being in a contract year.

Johnson has been up and down. He's a plus safety and has plenty of coaching and guidance with Weddle. He'll get it together.

I think our defense isn't playing at their ceiling. But we'll see yeah.
 
We will destroy the niners. Mark it down.

But Peters needs to go. His one pick 6 a year doesn’t make up for pee wee league tackling and giving up TD after TD. He’s our weak link and kills the integrity of the defense.

I get the feeling we will draft a CB early in the draft. We're grooming David Long Jr. this season. Hill needs to be a #4 at best.

I'm sorry I don't share your optimism, but if the Rams defensive secondary does not get fixed soon it is going to be a really long season.

I was at the Hawks game. Local fans (while giving me the business of course), were commenting that this is the best game Russell Wilson has ever played. There were some D breakdowns, but those TDs were all manufactured out of RW magic.

The week before was Winston’s best game ever. Offensive player of the week, blah blah blah.

No excuses, room to improve surely. But this sky ain’t falling. With offense gearing up we should be right there come playoff time...

P.S. I don’t believe the 9er hype. If they shred our D next week, then my tune may change.

I'm curious to see the whiners play the browns, that will give us some indication of how good their O is or isnt. But beating cincy and pitt dont impress me right now, the bucs game was week 1 and doesnt mean much IMO. If the whiners beat up on the browns we may be in trouble next week. But I expect the browns to win this game and put some doubt in the whiners minds.

9er game will be a shootout. Hope I'm wrong but I think Wade is going to need to tinker with this group. Fowler could make this a lot easier if he plays well, I think the edge rush still isn't where it should be and in this defense that edge rush is a big element in when it looks its best.

You know, i dont feel particularly bitter about this game, despite losing to the Seahawks.
I am sure we will beat them at home.
A few errors, so maybe we beat ourselves...
Easy to sit and stew about this, that, and the other, but the game is done and there were plenty of positives.

We don't quit. We never quit last week.
A huge rebound in 5 days.
I think the boys gave their all.

Over a week to adjust more. I think that will work in our favour.
We might have a decent OL in a few weeks.

We crush the 49ers, btw.
