I don't see how Houston can trade down and get Bortles.
First off, who will trade up for Clowney? No one in the top 5 will do that. Jax will sit and take Mack or a QB if Clowney is gone. Cleveland wants a QB or Watkins. The Raiders wants an OT or Watkins or a QB.
That leaves Atlanta as the first serious trading partner for Clowney. If Houston moves to #6, there's a good chance their QB of choice is off the board. They may get stuck taking their 3rd choice QB or none at all.
Sal Palantonio said yesterday on a Houston station that the Texans are stuck making a pick at #1. And I agree with him. John McLain said the Texans are taking Bortles, though he said he may be wrong. It's Bortles or Clowney. That's the menu.
