Kick is short and caught by Auburn player in the very back of the end zone.

And this happens!!!

I don't like either team, but damn good game and ending. Guess taking a knee and overtime looks good now. Damn you captain hindsight!!!!

I had just turned the game on when they snapped the ball for the FG attempt, I thought no way.
But he took it to the house. Just a crazy way to end the game.

Well i can't blame Saban for trying i guess, doubt he expected those results. Though with the results from prior attempts not sure kicking was the best decision.

He brought out a different kicker. It wasn't the guy who missed three. I thought the call was very risky. It was a 57 yard field goal attempt with a redshirt freshman kicker in a huge game. If he doesn't get it out of the end zone a return is a bigger risk than a hail mary intercepted in the endzone when you are surrounded by receivers. Maybe that kicker makes 60+ regularly in practice? Maybe McCarron cannot throw it far enough to get it to the endzone from that spot? Why couldn't they have tried a mid field hail mary. PSU had a 3rd and 8 and had to get a first down and go 50+ on a draw play.

I think there were safer things that Saban could have called.
